Yeah, no era servers for TBC. You’ll be moved along to Wrath. Not sure why they didn’t keep maybe one server but that’s the decision they made.

Bc tbc was sub par, nobody plays classic Era so why waste money keeping more dead servers staged?

The choice is retail progression servers or Classic WoW. The majority of users have chosen the former. Classic WoW continues on in Classic Era.

TBC refused to sign the social contract.

Was very surprised to see the game versions no longer included TBC classic. I would imagine there will be an uproar & they’ll have to leave at least a couple of servers available.

The consensus everywhere seems to be that TBC was just a holding pattern for Wrath.

There has been a LOT of hype for Wrath launching, but not as much when TBC came around.

They probably figured (rightly so, I’d wager) that the TBC server(s) would be mostly empty and people would be playing Wrath instead. So, to avoid the “character copy” mess from the last time, they just decided to nix the TBC servers entirely.

You can still travel in Outlands and do the quests there. On September 30th, will Outlands be closed down and you won’t be able to do quests, dungeons or raids there?

The Burning Crusade is over.

No.

However, there will no longer be servers dedicated to ONLY TBC.

They tried to have “Vanilla Only” and “TBC Only” servers and had a weird character copy process between the two.

TBC content will no longer be “end game content” when Wrath launches though, and there will be no servers where that will remain end game content. Wrath will be end game going forward on ALL current TBC content servers.

Vanilla was more popular than TBC and their Era servers are dead.

I see but you will always be able to go back to Outlands to do old quests, raids and dungeons if you want achievements?

Pretty much this.

People were just waiting around to see if they would launch Wrath. I think most people wanted that more than anyone wanted TBC.

Of course. They aren’t taking the content out. They just won’t have any servers that end at TBC like they did for Vanilla.

sad face :frowning: really wanted a tbc era server.

Same. I’ve been musing on these forums ever since Classic was announced to be a thing about when Wrath might come around.

I could only take so much of warmanes real money store and buggy mess
