I am planning on leveling all races and all classes cuz I like questing and leveling characters.
My question is what race + class combo goes well together?
I got my own thoughts on this matter but would like everyone’s input if possible since choosing a character and leveling to max level is a commitment.
I am playing the alliance at the moment but also interested in the horde characters as well.
12 classes in WOW, 10 races including the allied races so far +1 coming soon. But DH can only be NE or BE so it’s 11 classes and 10 races we can choose from.
Man its hard to say because a lot of classes are watered down from what they use to be. If we actually got class fantasy back, I think a Gnome Mage/Rogue would be cool. Dwarf Paladin/Hunter/Shaman looks like it would be a lot of fun. I dig small races, but Goblins aren’t as cool as Gnomes.
depends really… if your pvping, then goblin, tauren, pandaren, void elf, and dark iron are great. otherwise, i recommend going with interesting lore/rp combos. but imo, anything goblin or pandaren. they’re all good… though looking up lore for the race/classes is good if your indecisive… like i frequently am. xD
The fact that Orc Warrior isn’t a possibility on your list is surely an error, sir.
Also, I advocate for Worgen Druid and Draenei Priest (personally). Void Elf Hunter, maybe, as well? They’ve got some mail sets that work really well with their ‘natural’ color palette.

One more question though. I’ve already leveled some characters and I think I need to delete some if I am to make space and organize characters; but the characters that I am thinking of deleting, they’ve done some achievements like exalted faction reps and some Loremaster achievements. Will I still have them even after I delete the characters that have done the achievements? or will I lose them?
It’s minor really, but it will be nice if I could keep them.
(a) The last time I remember seeing a blue post on this topic, Female Dwarf Rogue was the rarest race/class combination in the entire game. Granted, I don’t think I’ve seen any blue posts about this in about 10 years, but it was the rarest of the rare at some point in time. (These days I wonder if Undead Hunters are rarer)
