We had 14 flag caps, held 3 bases all game. Horde got 84 honor we got 48. What’s up?!

No this is accurate to actual tbc, it should take you 72 hours played and 100 games to buy one piece of gear
Not sure the low amount of honor is the concern, it is why did the Horde get more honor when they did less. They got less flag caps and held less bases all game, but got almost double the honor?

pvp is what you should focus on, not gaming the point system.
now you can focus on pvp and have fun.
Then what is the point in even having objectives in BGs? Might as well just throw everyone in an open field with a timer.
No, BGs have objectives for a reason, take away any reward and they are pointless. I mean you have flag caps in WSG for a reason, you have the Resources in AB for a reason, they are the objectives of the BG. But take away any rewards and BGs are useless, just take them out of the BG all together then.

its so when noone wants to play bgs at all they can blame the oceanic-only battlegroup top kek bigbrain
alliance currently receives 2 honor per 330 victory points with no bonus for towers captured, meanwhile horde’s bonus works, so in effect, there’s now zero point in completing any objectives in EotS if you are alliance.
please clap for the streamers who finished their honor grind and got this broken hotfix pushed to make letting the horde 4 cap and alliance afk the new, exciting meta.
game since hotfix:
alliance got 48 bonus honor with 9 flag captures and 2000 points (win).
horde got 63 bonus honor with 3 flag captures and 962 points (lose).
Its Blizzards new direction for BGs. Make all objectives useless and just make players beat each other senseless in the center of a big ring for 30min, the most kills win.
I mean that is effectively what EotS is now.
Dude Temple of Whatever from MoP was one of my favorite BGs ever. That was lit.

I’ve seen it go the other way too, the whole thing is just bugged about honor gains from points.
Good thing I play this game to smash nerds and not to minmax honor gain.
