Whats going on at blizzard?

I very much doubt this theory. Blizzard will find a way to make us pay more for less content with this expansion a year format they’re going with. That is the style of management after a merger or buyout. So I would suggest getting used to recycled content being served up as something new. Like the Blunderstorm and the Earthen.

Ad nauseum… they dont “give” subscribers anything. We Pay. At the end of the day, if they went a year with no content, people would and should abandon the game. So silly statement but hey ho

Based on 10.2 design doesn’t seem they were going for a third.

It’s acceptable talk when someone thinks pvping while signing up for pvp is trolling.

So like half of all wow expansions last patch.

Lmao.

Pretending this cost us a raid tier, or used anything close to the same dev resources as a raid tier…

Its absolutely hilarious.

Isn’t this literally part of the problem? WoW isn’t supposed to just be a PvE game.

Look at SoD for what new WoW content is supposed to look like. New PvP events and new raids in a 50/50 split of dev effort. PvP servers that are active and population balanced.

Ion is just a bad game director and let retail PvP die because he doesn’t get it.

oh, you’re one of those.

They are balanced due to being forced to be balanced.

By the time Ion became director the pvp servers were already 95/5 splits. A little difficult to force that balance after the fact.

its not that deep

I am gonna be real. SoD is not good at all. It’s classic WoW which is already dated and basic, with added over powered and broken spells that make most of your kit useless in comparison while taking 2 dungeons and giving bosses an additional mechanic.

Amazing content. 10/10 great effort.

Cuz its money grabs for new players that wanna play it, it was neve meant for current wow players

Can we stop calling this a game mode? Plunderstorm is as much a game mode of wow as hearthstone is. It’s a completely separate game with a WoW theme.

Ah, this would explain a few things. In some ways I think WoW went backroad in some of the social policies they were trying to implement.

It’s all to keep their WoWfoot in on some form of e-sports with seasonal play, advertising for the franchise and metrics that can be reported to shareholders.
In short, a new “title” that can be monetized with fluffy financial buzzwords.

go ahead and show me what this mode has to do with retail that justifies it being a patch for it.

Yeah, I guarantee this took very very little time to make. Everything in it is reused assets, all they did was put abilities into the vehicle mechanic. Even the map is completely reused.

Yet Blizzard made it out to be. I’m fine with this being a garbage mode, but keeping it secret and trying to use the secretive path to hype it up was an idiotic move on their part. Hopefully, they learned from this…doubt it though.

They more than likely learned y’all will do anything if they dangle a carrot of collectibles infront of your face.

Because I can bet more people than not played at least one game. Well, grats, you’re now part of the stats they’ll bring to Microshart to:

Make this a new fail title like Overcrotch 2.
Make this the future of WoW, enjoy your simplified game on Gamepass.
Make any number of bad Blizzard decisions.
