Discussing food is about the game. We are humans we eat and some of the ideas may make it into the game.

I think there will be more game related posts when DF is released. For now, at least for me, it’s rep grinds and cooking

I get what you are saying but … I’m very hungry so I’m ok with this topic since I have to wait for everyone to get home from work anyway before we eat.

Speaking of Goulash. My favorite recipe comes from the 1997 edition of The Joy of Cooking. Replace the red bell peepers with Fresno’s. SO GOOD!

Fine, we’re having Blackened Worg Steak.

im waiting on my groceries, but im gonna do breadless beef n sausage combo. basically sliced beef and italian suasage cooked in an au jus, and topped with cheese and giardiniera in a bowl, instead of being a sandwich. i been craving one, but cant have the bread anymore, so im trying this.

Not sure right now, but I’m guessing we’re gonna buy something from a restaurant since we’re really busy with quinceanera preparations. Not sure what I want.

Yesterday I made a shepards pie in a cast iron skillet

And somehow nearly burnt my apartment down. Oven started smoking so bad, the fire alarms went off and summoned the fire department lol.

Fortunately it was just smoke and the shepard’s pie still came out pretty good. Fire department fanned the smoke from my room before letting everyone back into the building.

The secret to the pie though? A splash of tabasco sauce in the meat. Not enough to make it spicy, but enough to add a noticeable zing.

Dinner tonight is some more of that shepard’s pie.
