I’m rerolling to Alliance since I’m just getting to TBC Classic and my Horde server died.
I’m going to main either a Priest or Pally to heal at endgame and I want to have one alt. I’m having a tough time choosing a non-healing alt for Wrath. I want an alt that is fun, useful and relaxing to play to collect materials and maybe wanted to DPS in dungeons. Ideas/Advice?
Pally was easy mode to level to max. Personally, I find pally to be fun although I’ve heard people call it boring due to how you’re auto attacking a lot lol.
Male Nelf hunter named Legolass.
Paladins get a cheap mount at 30. Pursuit of Justice is actually pretty solid to help you get around (espcially once you get that mount.) Ret is already a blast, and will get way better once the pre-patch hits.
If you’re planning to take your time and bother with professions, blacksmithing and mining go well together (hammersmith will guarantee you a decent level 65 mace that will basically be free once you can make it.)
Frost mage named frostitute if you want something more original
Or a death knight named Àrthås.
Aye dual spec dps with the paladin is an easy solution. Ret will be wanted.
Relaxing herbing? Druid
Endless grinding? Feral or dk
Wanted dps? Dk if it doesn’t end up too saturated.
That wasn’t original in Vanilla.
You want a class that’s bursty. I’d recommend DK/ Pally/ mage. All have good opportunities to solo farm. And some can do multiple roles.
Come to Grobulus and play a mage or paladin, or druid or warlock.
Didnt figure you for someone to let sarcasm blast right by you.
Depends on which ear you’re talking to.
I’ve started leveling a mage on Mankrik so that I can play with my co-worker. It’s been easy mode so far.
pally for Wotlk is amazing, you’ll have two Overpowered specs and everyone wants a holy pally or 3 in their raid.
Priest arent good, you only want 1 of each in your raid, and its optional, you could bring only 1 and be completely okay with raid comp.
Ableism is hurtful.
I’ll probably main a Pally (heals/prot), but I’ve been trying to level one (only 19 so far) and it’s terrible so far. I don’t remember it being so bad, but I leveled one years ago
Yeah, that’s what happens when I’m day drunk, I guess.
It gets better.
Not good, but better.
AoEing demons and undead is pretty fun.
Rogue is always my first pick for alt because it can open dumb boxes. If you need mining, rogue can also stealth to veins in caves.

-So you’re fine starting from L1 but not L55 on a DK. Seems like a contradiction to me.
Not at all. I like Vanilla questing zones. I like Northrend questing zones. I don’t like Outland questing zones.
