final fantasy 10 and just the ff series in general
First Descendant
i tried n tried but it dulls so fast for me for some reason.
Guilty Gear Strive
Bloodborne. I just can’t do it. The frustration far outweighs any satisfaction I got when I attempted it. Thank goodness for “let’s play” videos on youtube though!
Warhammer. Just the whole dark fantasy and badassery that comes with it.
Deep Rock Galactic. I love Dwarves, and the game itself seems fun.
Then I got to the pipeline game mode and all desire to continue on just faded. I just didn’t have the patience for that mode but I needed to do it to progress.
ESO. I love Elder Scrolls SPRPGs, and I have pretty much no-lifed heavily-modded Skyrim for a decade.
I really want to like ESO and get into it, but I’ve tried on four occasions and just do not mesh with that game.
Cyberpunk.
Bought it, 10 hours in, can’t seem to get the feel for it.
Same, I didn’t get far before I noped out, I’ve been told it’s amazing, so I may go back and try again.
Tried ESO myself, didn’t vibe with it at all. I also hate we can’t have capes in the game because of the engine… Ugh.
Those team vs the bad guy type games like Friday the 13th, Dead by Daylight, Killer Klownz from Outer Space, Predator: Hunting Grounds, and the like. Especially DBD because it has Alan Wake, Alien, and so many other cool franchises signed on as killers and heroes.
I just love the idea.
But in execution, so far I haven’t played one that I could get into properly. Its frustrating.
For now, Dwarf Fortress. It’s got a learning curve, I just need the time.
The Witcher 3. The graphics are too dated for my liking but I love the concept.
Fighting games in general. Just not great at them, fun to watch though.
On a more literal version of this question: I really wish I could play PT. But I LITERALLY cannot get into that demo.
Beat Saber: I am way too clumsy for it and I would be awful at it. I used to be okay at games like that but then I fell out of the habit. And getting older gave me just a slight bit of lag compared to back then.
GW2. I want to love it, but some of the lore and concepts just push me away. It also feels really dated in some aspects and that makes it even harder to open my heart to it.
This one. I just cannot justify the cost of VR gear to play it. And I would probably end up breaking a limb anyway.
Elder Scrolls Online.
I want to like it so much, but it just makes me want to play WoW.
Gotta say, though, they got WAY better minigames… That excavation minigame is excellent.
Any survival horror games… resident evil, silent hill, etc…
Love the lore and all that, but just too much of a scaredy cat.
most games these days lol
i think i tried sdv a dozen times can’t get past fall.
Actually having difficulty returning to FFXIV.
I was addicted during Shadowbringers and Endwalker was pretty good for the MSQ.
Dawntrail is an absolute drag for me and I just find it weird that I’m feeling this way about a game that had captured me for years and years.
