Whats a game u really wish u can get into but just cant?

Funny story I played DBD early on and it didn’t click, played it again when the pig from saw came out because I like those movies and for some reason I absolutely enjoyed it more.

I will say even when I wasn’t playing I watched some videos so maybe it was knowing more and feeling comfortable the second time. I don’t think those tutorials are very helpful and you intently feel like you’re holding your team back

Baldur’s Gate 3.
It’s weird 'cause I liked Divinity: Original Sin 2 but something about BG3 just doesn’t click for me.

Path of Exile.

I just cannot. If anyone thinks WoW is complicated they haven’t seen a damn thing, because this game is incomprehensible and PoE2 is still not my cup of tea either.

The Witcher 3 - I’ve tried so many times to get into it and for some reason I just don’t enjoy it.

Lord of the Rings Online

I loved being an Elven Minstrel. I loved riding on horseback through the legendary zones. I loved the music. And the Player Housing was awesome.

The Gameplay was just abysmal, though. WoW seems overly convoluted, but they have made great strides in QoL as well as tutorials and merging obsolete gameplay loops/gimmicks. LotRO just felt like so much tedious and trivial stuff to do for little reward. The graphics are god awful.

I think what really keeps me away from that game is that the story is totally non canon. It’s basically fan fiction and playing through events from the past - no actual lore consequences going on.

At least in WoW, whether the story is bad or good, my Character can be involved in actual events of lore impact. Be a part of the story, as it were.

I am a huge Tolkien fan, so I enjoy playing in Middle Earth. LotRO is nice to sort of stumble through and chill, the music especially is immersive. I want to play it… but it is too much tedium for little reward.

The Game Masters/Mods are pretty awesome. I had a couple interactions with them, and they were very cool and understanding- it almost made me feel guilty about uninstalling it.

My only problem with The Witcher 3 is that I always fall into the Gwent Rabbit hole.

World of Warcraft

Same with FF games, grew up around them and my brothers loved them but could never get immersed in it. In general though, hero/class shooter games; they look like so much fun but I suck so hard in pvp that it would be detrimental to other players if I played.

Sea of Thieves!

I love the visuals, I just don’t enjoy PvP, and it feels so empty. If there was an MMO version that was filled with players and it was PvE, I’d be playing it every day.

I put hundreds of hours into that game… and all the FF games for that matter. The newer ones are kinda garbage, save for the MMO’s, but the series drops off a cliff after 12 I think.

Factorio… I just can’t get into it.

Eve Online. I always felt like I was too far behind to do anything worthwhile.

I didn’t even get that far. Played it for maybe 2 hours the night I got it and just never touched it again. :expressionless:

Real life is one game people cant get into. Hence WoW

I was hardcore addicted to EVE Online back in the day and if you are going plus on money then you’re winning.

FF14. Eventhough ive played for years, it’s terrible this expansion.
EvE Online. My uncle loved that game. I tried to love it but couldn’t.
Star Trek Online. Mainly cause the right developer isn’t running it.
