That won’t change if it’s timed or death count regardless.
Okay, then there is no need to change M+.
As someone who Mains a Healer, I miss this also.
That’s not what I said. It’s less stressful to heal when it’s not timed regardless of death rates. We ALWAYS have to worry about people dying as healers, timed or not. TImed makes it worse because people are rushing to beat this anachronistic timer in a fantasy setting.
If you want to suggest having no death count and no timed then by all means recommend something but otherwise not having a timed options but use death counts would be a alternative to how it exists now.
This is extremely subjective. Once again, I know healers that would hate having death count as the measuring stick as they would feel the pressure was solely on them. And I know that in pugs they would likely be blamed moreso than a dps accepting responsbility for poor awareness.
Just because you don’t feel that way doesn’t mean other’s won’t. Just as I heal m+ and feel no anxiety does not mean you do.
The only thing I could suggest (not that Blizz cares) is make a “score card” that in-tune with the affix. So if the affix is one where people shouldn’t AOE too much? Reduce the team score when dps AOE’s too much. But make it clear why this score is being reduced. People would hate this too though! LOL
If the opportunity exists to do content in the least amount of time, and get the rewards, players will take it.
Sadly, this isn’t 2004 anymore, when the internet was sorta new to everyone and we treated WoW like it was a chatroom/ Facebook.
Actually subscriptions were flat in Wrath. That’s why it had peak subscriptions: because they quit going up and started going down. For that reason, anything introduced in Wrath is questionable.
Go go go is why I don’t don’t don’t.
They were not flat in Wrath. They may have ended/peaked in Wrath but Wrath continued the same upward trend as BC until it hit that peak. Any significant decline started in Cata with the return of those ridiculous hour+ long dungeons.

You don’t have to beat the timer to keep going.
You cant upgrade a key either without beating the timer - the idea is completing it regardless of time still allows the next key level. How good would it be to have a system that isnt ‘go go go’ and you hit a wall where you just cant progress any further/higher because of skill/gear level instead of a clock.
I would really like a group PvE mode that’s fun for me again. It used to be dungeons when they were slightly less zoom gotta go fast healer’s pulling with their face etcetera, but that changed back in what… WoD? I’ve just been sticking to questing ever since unless a quest bribes me to do a dungeon run.
I do want options for relaxing group play. Peeps can have their raids and their mythic+ too.
Its called Mythic 0.
Mega dungeons with zero timers just hard modes is the way to go imho but i doub’t we will ever see those return in Shadowlands.
Why would Mythic 0 be any better than normal dungeons or Mythic + in this regard?
You mean Mechagon? The thing people in this very thread cried about and wanted nerfed when it came out?
There’s no timer on mythic 0?

The thing people in this very thread cried about and wanted nerfed when it came out?
No, people wanted to be able to run it via heroic/lfd instead of having it locked only to mythic. It was needed to unlock an allied race and people were forced into running it, even those who never set foot inside any other mythic 5 man.
There’s no timers in normal dungeons either, and those are still are still zerg rushes.
And they still cried for it to be nerfed.
Don’t pug?
