how much effort would it have been over the last year to have designated a couple art guys to work on a one or two armors, pathetic.

Well here we are, end of Shadowlands, no additional heritage armor.
It’s interesting to me because I’m not sure how much the Dev’s realize how your avatar LOOKS is almost as important as gameplay.
If they were smart, they’d put a cool version in-game, and then an EXTRA version in the cash shop so they can pay some artists to do the effing work.

TBH most of it was pretty ugly.
worked for the Goblin set and never used cause…ugly…
DID are walking fireplugs, no thanks.
I like how they said they’d add heritage sets in .0.5 patches and then none were added through a whole expansion 
I know stuff comes up but seriously… is 1 set for 1 race, with 2 body types, really that hard?
It sucks how some races have been ignored so long.

Covid happened
Covid of course caused problems. Working from home must have not helped either.
But some small things here and there shouldn’t take years to implement. At the moment, things have normalized quite a bit. They could have added some more sets at the end of SL. We got belf paladin armor recolor and dark iron weapons, some new sets too shouldn’t take too long. I am not a game dev, but I feel a billion dollar company should be able to provide some resources to finish a cosmetic project.
It’s not as important as many other changes and fixes for the game. But this is an ongoing project and it really should not be taking years.
It seems like the art department really took a hit during shadowlands. They’ve been hiring more artists so idk
It is sad since the art of this game really shines. I obviously don’t want the artists they still have to be overworked either.
Overall, it is just sad Things like customization, heritage armor, etc. really go a long way but I can see that they aren’t a priority at the moment. Hopefully there is more hope in Dragonflight for more stuff.
They already do this with the Blood Elf mount which suits the heritage armor. It’s embarrassing to see that the Alliance gets access to a Blood Elf mount, actually.

I wish I could return the worgen heritage armor.
Whoever thought a gilded suit was what best defined a race of cursed beastmen…you disappointed me.

Coming in Dragonflight, you can now earn your races heritage armor for a limited time only, just complete the current raid on normal or higher difficulty, get it before it vanishes next tier.
Honestly with how this Dev team is, this wouldn’t shock me one bit.

It’s based on Greymane’s HotS-design… and even then they didn’t get it right.
