Leveled, geared both specs (minus pants and a ring for Mistweaver), leveled primary professions, grabbed Arfus after realizing the only gamma I hadn’t done on my shaman was trial of the champion, Anubisath Idol…only thing really left to me is secondary professions and a couple more pet levels so I can swing by Northrend and grab an Unborn Val’kyr

Chilling by 2 boxing an monk and priest together and enjoying the journey in no rush to max lvl as they are alliance characters.
On my horde characters doing argent tourney for champion seals to get the last heirlooms i need and will probably do some old raids for pets and transmog stuff.
Leveling a Monk and doing some heroic dragon souls on my Rogue for experience!
I haven’t been playing much. When I do, I’ve been slowly leveling my bank alt just for fun. I’ll be able to use them as a secondary profession at the least.
Ive been helping gank horde out in the world. The damage is silly but im having fun !

My highest level Classic (this version) character was level 52 and I’m not even playing her, so I have basically nothing: no gold, no mounts, no pets, etc. I’m taking my time leveling this monk via dungeons and pet battles, building up my pet collection, leveling professions, all the basics as if I were brand new.
I’d have said Wrath was my favorite expansion but I’m really having a blast right now. I forgot how much fun some of this stuff was.

I levelled my monk, I’ll probably try to gear him, and I’ve done some pet battles. It’s been fun so far.
Leveling alts. Almost 85 on my monk.
Also, been casually leveling and collecting pets and some fishing/cooking.
Nothing. having a break. either my toons will be under geared or it’ll be fine. Unless the theramore ilvl gate stops me lol

Had the alt army from Wrath sitting at 80 and with dungeons being soloable now just been boosting them myself to 85 and making sure they all have professions ready.
80-85 in 3 hours is pretty cozy
I’m low key hooked on Battle Pets and collecting. Only just started obviously for pre-patch, but man I love it.

Unsubbbing because the speds in charge have already screwed up the expansion with changes and it’s still prepatch.
Ive leveled around 70 level 25 battle pets and started to terrorize pvp pet battles which currently have really short queues for those wanting the achievements.
At this point Im also starting to get some quests done on my alts to turning when expansion launch and profiting of the honor changes to cap my alts with wintergrasp mainly where I had fun one shotting people with the wg buff on my mm hunter.

I’m waiting until Dec 21 so I can finally complete my Kalimdor Safari ach by capturing the Snowy owl that only spawns in winter.
There’s a lot of decent ones youll see a lot of people use like anubisath idol or unborn valkyr. My current strat is mostly based around countering those and I wont spoil it yet xd. There was also a decent amount of clockwork gnomes which I dont think is great. Arfus in my opinion is pretty strong also.
Gamechanger abilities or synergy is what you want to go for. Personally I like having stuns, immunities like lift off or burrow are great and sandstorm ruins a lot of people, having one pet with it for me is essential while the bad part of a sanstorm strategy is making the match more rng.
Should not forget that speed is king in pvp most often. You should use an addon to see breeds to make your choice of pet.

Not who you were asking, but have all the pet PVP achievements in retail. I’m curious to see if the meta changes this time around, because it’s so dependent on a couple people making one pet trendy, then when that pet is in every battle, everyone leveling whatever counters it. I’m kind of hoping for something new and different tbh.
That said, there are a few basics I think will always be useful:
- A couple good rabbits.
- A couple good crabs.
- A snail.
- All the undead.
- Fiendish Imp or another pet with a swap.
- Anubisath Idol and pets with Sandstorm in general.
- A Darkness team. (Pets with Call Darkness and Nocturnal Strike, like Gilnean Raven and Crow. Lots of pets have one or the other of those abilities, so you can mix and match on the same team.)
- A Lightning Team (pets with Call Lightning, mixed with any stampede/swarm type ability and/or dots).
- Pets with abilities that damage the whole team, like Arcane Explosion (like Nordrassil Wisp, Lofty Libram, Lost of Lordaeron), Bonestorm (like Fossilized Hatchling), and Magma Wave (like Molten Hatchling and Lava Crab). Those are just a few, there are lots.
- EDIT: And a frog or two. Not sure how I forgot to say frog. Counters undead well but more importantly is just annoying as all get-out.
You can also do a Sunlight team, but EVERYONE WILL HATE YOU.
One good thing to do while leveling pets is focus on counter pets that are both strong (have abilities that do more damage) and tough (take less damage) against the same breed. For example the Flayer Youngling is a humanoid with beast abilities, so he does lots of damage to critters while taking less from them. Dragons take less damage from flying abilities, and a few have magic abilities, which are strong against flyers. This is more useful for PVE but it has its place in PVP as well.
I recommend Warcraftpets for searching for pets by ability or anything else.
If you don’t already have Battle Pet Breed ID or some other addon that tells you a pet’s breed, you might want to get it if you’re getting into this. In general you want slow undead, fast rabbits, and power anything else. For pets like crabs where you’re mostly using Surge, speed isn’t super useful. Things like that.
