What you LIKE about BFA's story

They never said that about Garrosh. They said he would be a warchief we as horde would all love but not that he wouldn’t become a loot pinata.

Then again the also lied about this entire Horde story so :man_shrugging:

I´ll never understand why are you so happy over this when we both know that would ciment Blizz M.O. regarding the Horde: then it would become quite official we are to be nonexistant while on neutral enemy expacs and basically cartoon evil villains the next time devs cave in to their faction war fetish.

Exactly, I skipped Cata but Garrosh was confirmed as the end game boss when MOP started and I do recall that.

I just hope they don’t think we’ll “enjoy” it more if it’s a surprise.

Because I’m a human being and I’m angry about Sylvanas forcefully turning the entire Horde into the Forsaken. I’m angry about having to go along with forsaken plans to do forsaken things to the detriment of not only my own common sense, but the innocence of my character.

Is the writing at fault for Sylvanas? Absolutely. But they’re at fault for anything wrong or good that Saurfang does, and I don’t see you holding back with “But wait guys, we should be blaming Blizzard.”

the story in each zone was really well done, along with the war campaign. Very engaging stories and incredible cut scenes.

Most people are laying the blame on Blizz for all this lets be honest now. Too many characters are acting out of character to say anything otherwise.

Sylvanas’ whole war in Kalimdor makes no sense she specifically warned against this kind of thing only a few years ago. Shes always been dark but never stupid cartoony evil.

Saurfang saying muh honor then allowing Horde fighters to die just so Sylvanas bites it instead of challenging and killing her himself is just a terrible bastardization of his character.

Cause is the truth. Sylvanas and Saurfang and Anduin DON´T EXIST. They can´t be guilty of the poor narrative path the Horde and the Alliance took in BfA when they´re mere tools of the actual guilty party: our current decadent, non-creative and morally bankrupt lore team / writers working for the lore team.

Celebrating ANYTHING, even the most minuscule part of this degenerate narrative will only be useful to create once again this problem in the future; and as many times as those devs want. We would be giving them free agency to abuse us with recycled narratives for as long as they feel like it.

Haven´t you ever listened to those devs on their interviews? The creeps literally IGNORE all criticism that isn´t a worship to their work and only take the opinion of people that agree with them as if this is an absolute truth for EVERY customer. And this is a recipe for failure; they will never know better if they are only interested in getting away with the cheapest idea ever while charging more and more every time.

Practice what you preach was the point of my post.

I enjoy fighting the Horde. Even the most ardently opposed to the faction conflict has got to feel at least some enjoyment when they see their choose faction fighting as one against a common enemy.

Hell, the invasions are one of the few time we seen nearly every race of the Alliance/Horde participating as one.

And when have I celebrated anything related to the BfA faction war degenerate plot? Cause last time I saw the very few things I haven´t btched about were the Zandalar narrative (though I hate we´re gonna lose Rastakhan -I mean he is less generic than Talanji) and the Belf heritage armor scenario (that frankly isn´t even new; it has been present on a novella since like 5 years ago).

I hope you aren´t insinuating I´m blaming players for the ridiculous narrative, cause that´s a falsehood. We players are the idiots being fooled here. I do encourage -perhaps quite strongly- other players to NOT blindly celebrate any part of this absurd plot; for the reasons I mentioned in previous posts.

Like others have said, I like the Zandalar leveling zones. The stories are pretty interesting overall. But if I’m being honest, there haven’t been too many times in WoW’s fourteen years where the leveling storylines weren’t good. Even WoD had good zone storylines, excluding the fact the big threat was pretty unthreatening after you beat them back a few times.

If incursions count, I enjoy those. The idea that the faction conflict isn’t limited to a single jungle in the south or a future raid does at least highlight the idea its an actual conflict.

The amount of voice acting also should be commended. Some characters, like Usha Eyegouge, make even the most boring content enjoyable.

And I don’t care what any of y’all say. Dolly and Dot are my best friends too. So long as vulpira stay in Voldun, I’ll continue to loves them whenever I visit.

Perfect, and yes Usha Eyegouge is great. I’d like to see more on her.

I’ve really been enjoying incursions too. They’re an absolute circus in WM and I can’t remember the last time I’ve had this much fun pvping. I kinda stopped in Cata so at least BFA has reinvigorated that part of the game for me. Storywise, I love pretty much everything about Nazmir. Catching up with the various loa, the Forsaken crew, GOB Squad, the Necropolis area, crawgs and Blood Trolls. Great atmosphere and questing experience.

a circus indeed. I love it!! Haven’t really been this interested in world pvp since MoP/beginning of WoD. I love the way my class plays in pvp.

All those are great as well. Really enjoying the Horde.

Atmospherically BfA is great. The locations added in Kul Tiras have worked wonders for an RP GM like me. Anglepoint Wharf, Norwington Estate, and of course Boralus are a couple locations off the top of my head for us.

I’ll bet… those layouts are absolutely stunning and can imagine how fun it would be to RP on the Alliance side. Haven’t gotten the chance try RP from that side. I’m leveling a horde mage on WrA though!

Haven’t done much Horde RP in BfA, but Dazar’alor’s Zoccalo looks divine for that kinda stuff.

Man, I forgot the art team’s contribution. I love each of the Horde zones. Zuldazar is my favorite for the most “me” of reasons; it gets difficult to tell where the city ends and the jungle begins, especially when you do quests to kill stuff all over the city, which leads you into the jungle. Nazmir’s great too, even if I hate having to ride around it. And Voldun just fills me with happy. I love desert zones.

Kul Tiras is great too. Stormsong Valley makes me want to level my Alliance toons. Seeing what I’ve been able to see of Boralus too. Drustvar though is total win; it manages to remind me of Duskwood, only better.

Same, Zuldazar has to be my favorite as well. The drawback to IoT ToT made me feel right at home for some reason. It’s different but draws great comparisons.

For sure. My first impressions were Duskwood too. Mixed with the lil gilnean goth theme of the humans. The zones and their great detail will always have a good place in my heart.
