For me personally the main thing is a box that is as classic as it gets. I would also enjoy an original map.
What would all of you like to see if they offered a collectors edition for Classic?
How much do you feel it should cost?
Suggestions made
- Box for classic
- Original map
- Plushy murloc
- Mouse pad
- Discounted membership time for first few months
- Re release of the original WoW collectors edition
- Making of Classic WoW documetary
- Original unarmoured epic mounts
- Classic character figurines
- A faction leader poster
- A nerf paladin mace
- Alpha/Beta access
- Original players guide
- Hogger hula dancer figurine
- Ingame pet of ragnaros
- Title -50dkp minus
- Sunglasses with rose coloured lenses
- Exclusive server or servers
Of course I don’t expect all these things they are just suggestions and items to discuss. I also made a thread on the Classic WoW reddit to gauge interest and it was very positive.

And a map but you beat me to it.

Mouse pad.
A group of recorded discussions by some of the developers about the thinking behind decisions they made (similar to the Watercoolers and BlizzCon Q&A but with a lot more specifics).
The original soundtrack.

I’d love a mouse pad with a paladin in tier 2 on it.

Doesn’t need to come with the game it can be some membership time and physical goodies for people who want to support the games launch.

its free with a bfa sub which means no collectors edition.its not a game edition you buy so there will be no cost to classic wow jsut a bfa sub.
the only collectors edition will be bfa…maybe they should if people want to buy collectors edition of a free game so be it.
The cost that comes with it could be put into getting membership time at a discount for a month or two and physical stuff would be fair. It’s more to have something to give support on release and a few physical items people would like.
hey if you want to buy an $60 collectors edition of a free game maybe blizzard should let it happen.
people paid $50 to play a demo with the virtual ticket.
remember classic requires bfa and a bfa sub and its free.
Yeah that’s fine, but myself and I’m sure others would like to have a box for our shelves and some physical goodies for supporting WoW classic on release. It’s not like it has to be a full $60 since it doesn’t actually require buying an expansion, but maybe $40 for some membership time and physical goodies that would be nice to have.
Isn’t there something you would want if they did offer a classic opening bundle?

i get what you are saying and maybe they should for people like you that want that.
but from the sound of blizzard it seams like here is classic wow in 2019…bye.
does it require bfa? I was under the impression it just required an active sub. If it does require bfa it effectively costs $30 or $40 or whatever for me because I would be buying the expansion just for classic

i believe they said bfa as well as an active sub.
incorrect, all y ou need is a WOW sub, you do not need to buy BfA.

You just need an active sub.

They never said you need bfa

oh ok i mean who playing today doesnt have bfa?
that is meaningless to what you claimed, that to play Classic you had to have Bfa, which is incorrect.

There are plenty of people who aren’t playing at all. All those lost subs over the years don’t have BFA. If they want to come back for classic they just resub.
