Yep, stuff like this would be great. Nothing ingame other than what came originally because that would make for an inauthentic experience. I would also add that I’d like to see a making of Classic WoW documentary included.

I would certainly like to see some classic themed merch on the store, I don’t really care if it’s a CE bundle or not. Maybe some maps, plushies, figures etc


Actually what would be really cool instead of world maps maybe some dungeon maps, for example a map of scholo themed as a tattered blood smeared treasure map drawn by some crazy mage would be awesome.

does not have BFA; never bought an expansion after Cataclysm; has not had an active subscription in years

I would guess that there are more than a few people who play up to legion and never purchased BFA.

If I actually had any urge to play Retail right now, I wouldn’t touch BfA with a 10-foot pole. I’d be logging in on alts and doing all the pre-MoP content, finishing a last few bits of WoD on another alt, MAYBE getting over my Pandaria “PTSD” and doing that content.

It’s actually kind of sad if the ONLY people playing right now are those on Starter Accounts or those with BfA. I suspect there are some who didn’t think the Black Friday discount was enough and hope there might be a better Xmas/holiday deal, or those who are holding out for 8.1 or the point after that is released when it’s even possible to get into the raid. How many? Yeah, you’ll never get that number from Blizzard.

This a good time to mention that Fandral Staghelm was defined as the night elf faction leader in original-WoW?

(I don’t actually know which patch changed it to Tyrande; it might have been before 1.12.)
