What would you add to WoW?

No, more jugs…I mean these kind of jugs.

some things from Path of Exile like Delve and Syndicate

I like the naval idea but removal of world bosses I think is bad overall. Anything that get players out into the world is a good thing in my eyes. I had stated in a previous post an idea about hunts. Similar to gameplay in Monster Hunter and Dauntless. Powerful enemies ranging from soloable to requiring a 5 man group. The monsters would be CHALLENGING and have a retreat mechanic at certain percentages as well as an enrage mechanic. Once the monster retreats you’d have to track them back down to engage with them again.

I’d bring back the npc vendor for pvp. They would sell itens based on the ilvl pvp gear that you have. For example: a fresh 120 win a random bg, he’ll gain honor and a little of conquest and will have a change to obtain a item with 310 ilvl. If he goes to the npc that item will have another ilvl, 325, once que obtain the 325 the vendor will upgrade it to 340 and 355 after, all for honor, but individual pieces, the player will have to grind to buy with honor or have luck and obtain it through rng. After that the player could buy the conquest, via rbg or arenas, itens with 370 and 385 ilvl after it.

The random bgs and random arenas would be considered solo content and have a ilvl cap o 340 (would be raised with new content), this way raides or m+ wouldn’t have advantage in those modes. However in the ranked mode of it would be necessary a full pvp gear, the pve gear would be nerfed to the 340 ilvl, giving a advantage to those who only make pvp. The same would be applied in mythic, m+ and raide normal+ for those who only have pvp gear equipped.

Interesting concept. As PvP stands right now I don’t think its in a terrible place but having vendors make a return is definitely a concept I am super interested in. PvP at the moment feels like a gamble as far as whether you’re going to get gear from a win or not.

PvP is currently the only form of content I spend a majority of my time playing in this game and its usually Random BGs. People get to psycho and angry over RBGs and Arenas and ruin the fun of it all. Random BGs are where I can jump in and have fun playing the game.

The reward system just needs work.

I’d bring back unique classes like back in vanilla and burning crusade.
I’d make dyeable armor
Player housing.
I’d bring Professions back to the days when they were actually useful.

Good stuff man. I share all of these opinions.

oh and i would add more professions/remove some professions in some regards.

Gathering professions would be removed in the sense that they would be baked into other professions. are you a blacksmith or engineer? congratulations you get mining built right in.

I would add the wood working profession and shift wands/staffs and bows over to that profession as well as finding some other neat stuff to add.
there would also be items that require stuff from other professions to make as well.

Bring back some real depth to crafting.

Turn Enhance shamans into or make a 4th tank spec that uses mace/axe and shield. Bring back the gladiator talent as a 1h&S dps spec for warriors. Add a quest chain that allows one to betray their current faction and join the other (a one time in game option to faction change for free per character). And finally, give Worgens access to the Shaman class.

I’d do the same in my thoughts of the professions changes. Other change would be the profession that each classe would learn, like a plate wear would have blacksmith as your primal profession, a leather class would have leatherwork…the other one the player would choose between enchant, inscription, engineering, jewcrafting and alchemy

It would be cool to have a chain to betray your faction. I’ve always wanted to walk into Ironforge on my Tauren like I owned the place.

I really like the idea of implementing more player choice into the game. Fable had a pretty dope system that made every choice you implemented in the game have an effect on the way your character turned out. You chose something that is good, your character turns towards the good side. You make an evil choice, your character turns towards the evil side. Thoughts on a system like this?

honestly i’d rather have more control and customization over my character then just mandated to having applicable profession.

I agree. I don’t think forcing an armor crafting profession upon players would sit well with a lot of people in the game.

Oh I remember that. I loved Fable. I would diffidently approve of that system being implemented.

fixed that for you.

Haha yea I loved how Fable did it. That game was my jam! My warlock would definitely be making all the evil choices.

I’d make this change because of the removal of the gear from wq and the othe “solo” content, like warfront and the boat system. This way the player would be rewarded with material profession to craft your gear to use or sell or send to a alt.

Fixed again

Yea I just dont see the removal of WQ and other “solo” content sitting well with the player base. Players need a form of progression to follow while they can’t form a group. I don’t think the implementation of WQs was a bad thing per say but I think the repetitiveness of them is what players dislike.
Rift had a pretty cool system in place where Rifts would spawn all over the world thus drawing players, no matter what level, to these events to fight against a common cause.
