Play Cata, probably see what the buzz is about for the new retail expansion, and might try season of discovery. Not sure about that last one, I’ve always hated Vanilla designs but the changes might be enough to get me interested
I’m for sure going into Cata… But I’m also going to make a character to try SoD… Then in about a year I’ll be playing TWW…
I’m excited about all the announcements actually. I am fully satisfied with my classic experience and it’s time to try new things and Cata will still have my classic characters to progress… win, win, win
ill try cata but i always leave n come back the bit i played on retail w/ the lvl thing was not fun at all though and the dungeons were a bit much but i think it’s scaling issues so i wasn’t really introduced to it well w/ retail lol and the world looks super bad bc of cata that never seemed to been fixed…
Well Wrath is my forever home so if I want to do that then I guess that’s where I go.
This seems interesting. It likely will be too much and not Classic but it’s good to see them try wild things and see what sticks before they release Classic + expansion. By too much I mean class homogenization and abilities too far away in design from Classic. So many of these likely need to be removed or tinkered with.
I’ll play Cata only for wpvp. Rogues get leggo and the pvp gearing gets revamped so you don’t really have to raid anymore, just arena/rbgs. The reality is though, people are going to play this and realize why they quit playing the first time. It’ll die faster than an Alliance entering the kobold cave.
Plan for now is SoD, but depending on what changes are made and if enough of the guild is still around I could dabble in Cata. Cata is going to need some major changes to even be remotely enjoyable.
I already do 2, 3, and 4. I’ll try 5 but I’m skeptical. I’m not sure if I’ll do 1 because it doesn’t feel like classic to me. Plus, my favorite time in the game was TBC/WotLK. Cata is when the game went from being social to solo and lonely. Not sure I want to relive that. So 6 is a very real option, provided I can move my existing characters to a wotlk era realm that doesn’t have changes or weirdness.
i’m always playing another game beside wow “dunno how the hell some people stick to 1game” i always say instead of making 10alts in 1game, make 1~2character in 5x different games But anyway for me… 1,2 & 7
