Some may break. Some make work. It is brand new territory for Blizz so no one knows what to expect

Most addons get updated updated every major patch. You just got to download them again

I don’t expect anything to be working right for at least a few days after a big patch.
Patience is key.
The big name addons (DBM, Details, WeakAuras, etc.) will have their updates ready to go for the pre-patch, but the ones that aren’t big will be a few days behind. The lesser used addons may never be updated.
As for your weakauras, most should still be fine as long as you update the WA addon itself.
Everything will break until you update it.
Some things will still not work after being updated.
Some things will be updated a half dozen times in the first week before the creator gives up and says “you figure it out”.
A lot of stuff is working without updating it (like weakauras) other ones will just be running an update.
Most developers are already fixing addons on the ptr/beta
People should realize this includes LFG BB, it’s not lesser used but the creator is also not updating it. We’re lucky it still works now.
Uhoh. I really hope they pull a miracle with the LFG tool by release.
Doesn’t mean someone won’t take over development of it, addons are open source.
