I don’t know what the bots will farm, but if I don’t see see them laying on the ground in SW spelling out their gold selling site, it won’t be the genuine WOTLK experience.
They will likely be farming the culling of strath (most tightly packed mobs instance if i remember correctly). Using Wall and fly hacks and aoe spamming blood boil and diseases on a DK, which has no aoe cap.
It won’t be doable by legitimate players, but then, we have seen how long it takes blizzard to ban them so they will likely still turn a profit…
I dont know the details of what they where farming but I do remember endless streams of bots fly hacking to Wrath Nax portal … presumably to farm trash endlessly.
Scarlet crusade areas also had some attraction to bots … I think it was either they where using cover from the introduction of zoning so most players couldn’t see them … or something to do w/ a quest spawning a bunch of mobs that drop loot that they could reset endlessly.
Oh, there was also a lot of farming of the Pit of Saron trash for hilts … but thats not till the end of wrath.
Well aside from the usual I think that the bots might make a use in battlegrounds, now I could be wrong but I think they added items which could be bought with honor and traded to other players in wrath. Another theory with mc bosses being soloable in wrath or maybe 2man with a partner there will be alot of demand for arcanite for the legendaries from mc and I do plan on having a death knight alchemy/blacksmithing to get hammer. Because of the weekly lockout it might take time or money to get hammer.
As far as elemental drops wintergrasp will be filled with bots and might just be the opposite faction to the main faction thus being able to easily take out solo players and require raids to remove meaning the large elemental areas will be monopolized death zones.
