Since DPS Warrior was pretty much “da s!#$” back in Vanilla. What was the best Race to play a Warrior at his best? The best Racial Talent that can perfectly supplement a warrior’s skills?
I assume it would be the Orc with his Blood Fury Talent increasing Attack Power?

Undead warriors did really well in PvP w/ Will of the Forsaken.
I want to say for PvE min/max would be orcs or humans since they have weapon skills in sword, maces and axes.
Gnomes are smaller and harder to target in PvP (not sure how much of an advantage that is).
Each race has benefits, some would argue Taurens extra HP is big too for tanking.
Honestly they can all do well. The last top end parse I saw from private servers (take with grain of salt…) was a female Dwarf Fury Warrior.
Playing well and having perfect gear > race.
That said, yes to get the most on paper/spreadsheet DPS you will want to be either Orc or Troll on Horde, and Human on Alliance.
Tauren most hp to tank
Human most damage with weapon skills
Dwarfs have strongest PvP racial
There isn’t a best race, they all work out about same at the end, differences aren’t significant.
What about Rogues? Why is it that every Rogue related video I see in Vanilla its always an Undead Rogue?
Maximum dps output: Human/Orc
Most utility: Gnomes/Undead for cc breaking and resistances

Being a Tauren for the scaling HP is super nice, not gonna lie. We also have very high base strength, it’s about an enchant worth. Larger hit box comes in handy as well.
I’d say the biggest overall problem with Tauren is that in some situations you’ll be messing with your camera or have danglies from the ceiling in your face the whole time. You get used to it… Oh and of course all scrubs target the big handsome bull man first.

PvE, Human/Orc
Sword/Mace/Axe Spec racials provide less Glancing Blows on bosses, and Orcs get Blood Fury to give a big boost to damage at a cost of not being able to effectively heal.
PvP, Dwarves, Gnomes, and Undead racials to clear CC is pretty huge. Tauren get a stun and a bit of extra HP. Elves get extra Dodge which is handy for tanking.
Really, you can be effective with any of them, but if you want to min/max, Human/Orc is where it’s at.
These are gonna be my big 4 Class/Race Combos + one personal class that I know is gonna be a challenge.
Human Holy Paladins (This is for me)
Orc Fury Warrior.
Undead Rogue (don’t know what’s the most deadliest and raid viable spec though)
Night Elf Marksmen Hunter.
And Gnome Frost Mage.

Looks basically.
Compare Forsaken, Trolls and Orcs in the same armor.
They also have some of the better combat animations.

Welp, screw playing an Undead Rogue. Now I can make my Classic Undead Main a Warlock.

PVE Alliance: Human > rest
PVE Horde: Orc > Troll > Rest
PVP Alliance: Gnome > Dwarf > Rest
PVP Horde: Orc > Tauren > Rest
25% resist stun is the best racial handsdown in classic. If you don’t believe it now, you will once it is released. But the stomp + extra hitbox from Tauren is good. In the Alliance, the gnomes racial is insane for PvP as well.
If you play Undead Warrior for the racial, you play warrior wrong.

Human is best for rogue or warrior due to the sword and mace weapon skill increase. On horde Orc is best due to axe weapon skill. For a warrior tank that is getting Thunderfury Troll is the best in vanilla wow at end-game because in naxx gear the haste racial out-scales everything else.
I just need to know that I just need to be an Orc for Horde Warrior.
The old Orc shoulder models were Best in Slot.

Orc is the way to go for DPS. Lots of good axes in Vanilla.

You didn’t need WoTF as a warrior because you have beserker rage for the same effect. Gnome size didn’t make them any better in pvp but escape artist made them a lot better against mages
But, which DPS, Fury or Arms?
Orc or Human for the weapon skill because of how glancing blows worked in Vanilla. You won’t be using blood fury hardly ever in a raid because the risk of putting a MS on yourself was not worth the reward of the AP increase.
2h fury is the beezneez early on
