What time does the server open?
Around 3 pm PST, 6 pm EST.
Mountain and Central will have to do their own math, and the EU can hang tight for another 24 hours.
Yeah it says 3pm PST, that’s the scheduled time, though it could be after that too, it could also be before, that doesn’t happen often but it has happened.
I’d just check in from time to time, but I wouldn’t make plans around it.

3PM PST is the advertised time.
This does not account for extensions of this time by Blizzard at random intervals, delays with no announcement and server restarts at inopportune times. Normal patch day stuff in other words.
3pm PST
4pm MST
5pm CST
6pm EST

I so wish Blizzard / the US used GMT like the rest of the world does.
Patches lately have been up a decent bit before the posted time but this is an expansion patch. Still wouldn’t be surprised to see it up an hour or two before the expected time.
I just wish we’d get rid of daylight savings.

considering your institutions also use metric instead of imperial, its just a matter of time until you catch to using GMT like normal countries.

Yeah, Cata was one I didn’t play much off when it was live previously, due to poor security of my old accounts. I’ve only had this account since MoP.
