Calling asked me to go help bastion, so I head over for some world quests.
Up north I find one, where some angel dude wants me to beat the tar out of his own students.
Their crime? “Doubt”
Honestly if this is what we’re protecting then the Jailor can have Bastion.
Don’t question our methods or you’ll get the rod for “doubting” us.
There are people on this forum that will unironically defend Bastion and current Kyrian society.
After so long, reeducation centers only can do so much and to ensure followers obey, if continued failings happen, it is required for stricter approaches. Well, that how many cult survivors have stated it.

The doubtful ones are kind of being hostile though attacking other people and spawning sha-like elementals. Gotta lay down some education to calm things down.

I might also add it’s somewhat suspect that they all wear the same outfit and have the same stunned expression on their faces with those empty, soulless eyes.

There was a quest where I had to show ‘tough love’ to an animal by beating it. I felt kind of bad. Not bad enough to stop playing, because I’ve slaughtered countless digital-non-real-life-animals, but bad enough to go, ‘oof that was rough. 
An animal is different. It can’t be reasoned with and so violence may be the only option depending on what you need.
These weren’t animals. These were people, who happened to have a point of view that differed from their leadership.
