Last week I was soloing layer 5 and working on layer 6. It was hard, very hard, and I needed to get lucky… But it was also very, very fun at times. This week I try and do layer 5 for my ash and get my face stomped in by the first non-empowered non-floor guardian elite I meet. I find out about the buffs and think ‘well that sucks’. I decide to do layer 4 instead. Not much I can do, right?
Well, I get to floor 2 of layer 4 and the empowered elite boss at the end (who had already gotten buffs last week that made this less fun) now suddenly had this extra cool, extra special power. Every 5 or so seconds he gives himself a buff that increases his damage by 10%. So here I am thinking there’s gotta be some mechanic behind this. No way I’m expected to outrace this guy on a Disc priest or Shadow priest on floor 2. Dispel magic? Nope, that doesn’t work. CC him when the buffs get to high to deal with? Well, I can’t do that because the only cc long enough is my MC and he’s immune to that. Oh, he has a slower speed because of one of his buffs from the Jailer, I must need to kite him until he stops empowering himself.
Nope.
This sounds like an unkillable boss I heard about in one of the floors. But from what I’ve heard you can interrupt him. So… What the hell am I missing here? Why is Torghast suddenly so bleeding hard I’m set back not one, not two, but THREE layers?
I think torghast is still pretty easy, I was just able to blaze through a layer 6 solo. You have to collect the powers that are in the dungeon which can help out, but i think just basic class knowledge is all you need
If that was anywhere close to true, it would of gone live, as is, with no changing.
If that was anywhere close to true, Ion could have…should have…been out front of it and laid out the vision. Instead…nothing.
They have no idea and are doing the same knee jerk reacting they always do.
You’re all trolling. I got every power, every rare, and every Anima cell there was. Turns out there were about THREE before I faced a non-boss elite that ramped up in 20 seconds so hard that he became unkillable. This wasn’t the end boss, this was a random elite at floor 2s end. This wasn’t some misplay on my part with a bad choice in powers, I never got the chance to get enough powers to kill it in the first place. This was BS. And it comes right after a week where I was feeling as all three of you were describing, that Torghast was difficult but fun for those with ilvls that they were clearly working on improving.
You three ignored EVERYTHING I said in my post, read that I’m complaining about Torghast in the title, and came to white knight for the multi billion dollar corporation.
I did too, a week ago. But man it’s entertaining to interact with everyone else about it, while also not being subjected to seeing his posts. I can keep my sanity.
