What should we do if we dont like dragonriding?

The compromise is that, like others have more or less stated, you can use dragons to ferry you about, take flight paths, and travel by ground mount.

Honestly, it would be a rather unique experience I would love to hear about from you in the future.
Playing through Dragonflight without Dragonriding!

Please do let us know how it worked out for you and if it’s truly viable at all. Several players have stated that Dragonriding is improbable or impossible for them to do due to medical/physical issues.

The thing that brings me comfort is i know blizz isn’t going to do anything with it in a few patches just like every other expansion. It’ll get shoved to the wayside because it’s just a chore that grows old very quickly. Give it a month and they’ll have tickets demanding regular flying so much that they’ll bring it back.

And that is why I love Dragonflight. All of the issues thus far are an entirely localized problem that 98% of the world has no clue about and won’t affect them at all, and isn’t a cosmic world/universe-shaking Cataclysmic event. A true callback to the good old Vanilla days.

Just use a mount and go to flight masters. That’s more relaxing! you can watch netflix or youtube while on a flight master mount. Max level dragonriding feels better than regular flying to me as it is very fast and immersive.

You think that, but if enough people still want it over normal flying. They could very well give up on pathfinding.

I hope they do. Even if you don’t like it. You will get use to it.

What is powerful about DR? I don’t have the DR action bar showing (visage bar), and i think it is because of plater addon.

Does any one know how to get the DR action bar to show?

I’m not renewing my sub. You shouldn’t either. Wow lost the vast majority of their subs by listening to the trolls. They went from 144 million to like 2 million.

It’s the “Encounter Bar” in edit mode (weird I know).

It’s real power comes from it’s max speed potential being almost 3x that of regular flying, though you always hitting that speed is unrealistic.

That’s good to know, thanks. However, as far as DR powers are concerned, is DR powerful only because it can go hell of fast? Or is it also because you can kill mobs with DR?

Speed. I think DR has an aoe when you land as a talent you can take but it’s not really for killing, it’s for travelling.
