What should we do if we dont like dragonriding?

Sorry, but why would you want to talk Blizz out of adding pathfinder?

They’re trolls. It’s the reason the game is gutted. Blizzard listens to them too.

That is on you, I loving the crafting revamp, the exploring. How good flying feels now.

If you want to play that boring way, that is fine. But many players loving the open ended feeling df brings.

No because i got to Val and just used dungeon finder because it’s not what i was promised…

It depends:

If you feel it’s too difficult for you for some reason, you can ignore it for the most part. You might need it here and there, specially while leveling, but I think most high end content won’t require it.

If you’re being just stubborn and feel triggered by just having to press that button ocasionally, then I think the best is to skip this expansion and/or wait for a future patch.

It feels incredibly bad actually and got on my nerves really quickly. Enough that I’m probably going to nope out entirely.

You can ignore the glyphs and use the basic dragonriding for most things quest related. UPgrading it is useful for the races and collections, like dragon appearances.

i was told by a homie theres a ferrie system in place to take you up and down where qquests require. is that still an option ?

no thanks but thanks.

they as in me? o.O

I don’t even understand, People really making it out like it is the end of the world now that you can’t hover. That you got to pay attention where you want to go.

There is a small quest chain involving two orcs that used to be dragonriders. And the quest to fix a whelplings plushie.

I like stuff like that. Not every quest has to be about saving the world or averting disaster.

It was pinpoint accuracy and this is just not it. It’s a downgrade in every way.

I think their biggest mistake was to gate its progress behind the glyphs.

Once you unlock all of them is a treat, but in order to unlock them you need to do these mini games that, rather than being skill based, are just a waste of your time, afking while the circles refill for like 90% of the time.

the cloud serpent quests are kinda like that too.
champion of the world picking up food for its new hatchling. pretty wholesome.

No it is not, and you can get good enough to control it.

This flying is faster and that is what makes it fun. The control you have in the air with burst forwards and upwards, and the higher speed.

I haven’t checked. I personally think it’s awesome once you unlock all the talents (but locking its features behind those glyphs was a mistake, in my opinion), so I haven’t looked for alternatives.
