What should we do if we dont like dragonriding?

I’m not talking about the ability to do the mechanics. I’m talking about the affects the speed and visuals have on motion sickness and eyesight issues.

That doesn’t help.

It’s not a skill issue. Stop being obtuse on purpose.

heres a few ideas
all the treasures, rares, quests etc that require DR. have a foot path to reach it.
or if thats 2 hard old flying.
grappling hook also works back in stormhiem but its more aggravating.

i can tell ya right now that foot path aint gonna happen that would require changing the entire map and blizzard isint gonna do that.

honestly if you want to get treasure just a quick hop onto the mount and pressing the space bar is about all ou need to do if your not flying heavily through the air your disability really shouldnt effect that

you dont ahve to be break neck flying through the air to get em as far as iv seen

Well hope Blizzard fixes it. But the gliding part is the same it always been in the game.

Lets hope Blizzard adds more options, but that still does not mean we need old flying back.

When going down in gliding it gains speed always.

Old flying is the least impactful option for accessibility. Because you don’t have to ever use it once it’s there. And it will be there in a future patch.

okay so grappling hoook?
old flying?

I rather them fix Dragon rider for people, and get rid of old flying. We shall see.

old flying will come eventually im sure but not right now.

grappling hook also is basically changing the map again so i wouldnt count on that but its not as sever as altering the landscape so idk

thats not true its VERY impactfull insanely so to the core aspect of dragon flight that it would break the openworld

Having both is the only way to keep it how it is. Because the only options are slow it down and remove the effects. Now the effects thing could be an option. But the speed, I wouldn’t even want them to do that. Because it punishes people that like DR, and can do DR.

Both existing is the best option and it is one they are going for, just not at launch.

It has never broken the open world. And they are adding it at a later patch.

Yea when most peple have done the content and adding it wont be as impactful as it would be right now

i dont think that would affect anyone other then the person using old flying so it shouldnt matter to anyone.

Got a feeling most will like it, if not even love it. But real question is how long until it’s seen as not fun? When the fun part becomes going faster, what that tells you is the journey is not that great.

How is it impactful? Especially when DR gets people places at 3x the speed?

These are the worst responses I’ve read it a long time.
All of you go pound sand.
lol, WoW!

im trying yo find the thread this guy made last night talking about it.

me? i didnt.

No.

there was a guy who made a thread last night explaning why adding normal flying breaks the core aspect of the game and im having a hard time finding it i might needto go look it up on my phone

You cannot ignore it entirely. There are a few quests and dungeon situations where you’ll have to use it, but these are very few. I suspect you’ll enjoy it if you give it a try, but if you don’t…you could totally ignore it most of the time.

Flight points are regular and frequent, and most of the quests are fully doable without dragon flight. As it is a key feature of the expansion, you’ll be faced with having to do it now and again, but I really do think you can skip it almost all the time.
