I’m currently sitting at roughly ~4.4k gearscore, and there’s only a few more things I can get that’d be upgrades from the Heroic Icecrown dungeons. Most people doing ICC are wanting 5.1k gearscore (which I understand) so I’m trying to bump myself up to there, but I’m a bit stuck.
What should I be doing, other than targeting the last few pieces from FoS/PoS/HoR on heroic? I’m vaguely aware of Alpha/Beta/Gamma dungeons, but I don’t really know all that much about them, so I’m not sure whether they’d be useful for me.
you want to run Gamma dungeons so that you can buy hard mode Ulduar and (i believe) heroic 10m TOGC gear from the Scourgestones (scourgestones can be converted into the currency to buy the ulduar gear) which will make you high enough gear score to go in with ICC pugs.
Farm gamma dungeons for tokens and buy a whole set of 245+ gear. I would suggest weapons and trinkets first. Given how cheap saronite has gotten, you could also look at buying 264 crafted legs/boots. Don’t forget the weekly raid quest for an extra 10 frost tokens.
just wait for Cata at this point. Prepatch would likely drop before you get 4T10.
They added extra token drops from each end of wing in ICC but they didn’t increase frost emblem drop acquisition rate / decrease 251 T10 emblem requirements… Like what is the point?
