Should I return to for wpvp
Is there a server that actively try’s to promote wpvp? Some of the best times I’ve had in game were in legion and cata on Emerald Dream
Does anything like that exist? Also I really would like to go alliance
Just go to one of the high pop realms for your chosen faction and avoid the RP shards. I think Stormrage, Sargeras, and Proudmoore are the big Alliance ones.
Going to a server that is high pop the faction you want to play is counter intuitive to doing WPVP and a lot of the reason why WPVP is dead.

Sharding is why. I would have recommended ED for the balance and activity beforehand in a heartbeat.

Even with sharding you will still find way more fights if you were to say, go Horde on Sargeras.
There’s a reason Ruin is stuck doing Epic BGs instead of wpvp.
You’re entitled to your opinion, but I’m on an Ally-heavy realm currently, and it isn’t better for WPvP than a Horde-heavy realm. It all depends on what shard you get in. You also lose the cheaper AH prices and realm and guild activity doing what you suggested.

You’re on Proudmoore, an ex PVE, heavy Alli Raiding Realm that has never had a rep for WPVP.
AH is cross faction… So dont know what you’re talking about there.
If your main intent is to WPVP, like OP said, yehhh. Going and joining a server that is 90% the faction you want to play is counter intuitive. Especially with how sparse things are now.
Actually OP, come check out ED Alliance. Look for Kill Order, the Guard, Clan Battlehammer, and Wardens of Nordrassil.

It should not be about servers. Clearly sharding and phasing tech does not work correctly during WM. And if you have Chromie’s timelines on you will never see anybody…
The game has hundreds of flaws its insane how much stuff is not working properly.

I searched everywhere and still don’t understand where to go for fair PvP. I’m on Maelstrom EU server (A: 1, H: 0.5) but wPvP is garbage cause it filled with alliance 10 to 1. Horde is mostly on PvE stuff here.
I’m afraid to go to the horde filled server exactly why Lluagor said" it’s counter intuitive cause if there are only 300 people on alliance on one server then no matter the sharding they will have around 50 people playing PvP there. (Or I’m confusing about how sharding works).
So Which server do I choose when playing Horde and wanting to play fair wPvP or at least not when Alliance crushing Horde too much (I can handle little frustration).
A different game.
Emerald Dream is trying to start a resurgence. It’s worth a shot.
