What runes are you hoping for in phase 2?

What abilities are you hoping to get the most in phase 2? Please post what ability and for what class and why,

For me I would like to see the following runes.
Shaman - Blood Lust
This is the shaman happy spell that makes us feel warm and fuzzy inside kind of like gas, but the party will actually appreciate it. So for the love of thrall please add bloodlust.

Shaman - Maelstrom Weapon
Such an amazing ability for enhancement shamans who want to do both melee and spell damage. Fantastic for a dual wielding shaman who just wants to run in and clobber the hell out of everything.

Thunderstorm - Shaman
Big knock back mana regen super cheap mass kill move in pvp what’s not to love.

Riptide - Shaman
This is just a super super nice ability for any resto shaman.
Warrior - Gladiator Stance
The ability to use any ability in any stance will help HUGE with warriors and make them less gear dependent to tank.

Warrior - Whatchamacallit
Something that will make rage more sustainable for tanks so they can actually hold threat when starting out with dungeons,

Rogue - Hunger for Blood
This is just INSANE make the rogues already ridiculous damage even greater. With this, rogues will once again be the class people play in pvp to piss everyone else off.

Fan of Knives - Rogue
An aoe would help rogue tanks ENORMOUSLY with tanking trash mobs but please lower the energy cost tremendously 50 energy makes it very unspamable for threat.

Cloak of Shadows - Rogue
A fantastic choice for rogue tanks to avoid being clobbered by magic damage.

Seed of Corruption - Warlock
Huge bonus for affliction warlock aoe since affliction damage is falling way behind it seems.

Unstable Affliction - Warlock
Another huge hard-hitting dot for affliction warlocks who love to watch their foes wither away and die.

Natural Reaction - Druid
Rage from bear druids dodging will help with their rage starvation boosting their effectiveness as tanks.

Primal Fury - Druid
Rage from crit hits will definitely help with rage starvation for our beloved fuzzy bottom tanks.

Symbol of Hope - Priest
Raid wide mana regen from a priest channel no one will hate you for putting this in game I promise.

Rapture - Priest
This will make a lot of then naysayers start liking power word shield. Such an amazing ability is currently being under-utilized from my experience anyways.

Arcane Barrage - Mage
It’s a super nice instant cast for arcane mages especially for healers =D.

Combustion - Mage
What fire mages are nukes waiting to detonate…

Deep Freeze - Mage
Can’t wait to see people saying Hey look mommy its a gnomie pop lol.

Silencing Shot - Hunter
Ranged Silence Always nice

Whachamacallit - Hunter
Something that will make melee hunters more sustainable like maybe add a chance on auto attack to land an extra hit with a 2h weapon at .5% or something so not very often but will still make a difference.

Exotic Pet Mastery - Hunter
I don’t really care of this one but I know all hunters will love you for it.

I’d love to see 2 runes added next phase for hunters:

Helm rune - “Dodge This” rune - removes the ‘deadzone’. Hunters deadzone removed with this rune equip’d.

Belt rune - “Viper pit” rune - adds 25 agi for 30 seconds when a mongoose bite is used and drops a viper trap (yes even in combat).

I want summon elemental for shaman, love that spell in retail

I would rather they add minimal runes (4-8) and instead focus on making most of the current runes actually good.

Would also like to see more runes that are just upgrades of abilities, so that way I don’t have to change my macros if I want to swap runes.

Personally, as a Holy Pally main, I’d like them to tune Beacon of Light to last longer. Would also like some more Rune options that are good for healing. As the current selection of Runes are heavy in the Tank and DPS variety. I’d love an AoE Heal rune.

Gimmie a talent that buffs dam by 20% and reduces all healing by 30% for priest. Would power up sp even tho prob will already be broken while also allowing for holy/disc dps when wanted.

Some Holy Paladin Runes are much needed for PvP, we have no Insta cast heals to survive when focused. Divine Storm in Holy does basically nothing it wont save you. And im affraid Holy Shock on a 30 second cooldown will not be enough. We need a Word of Glory Rune real bad. And Beacon swapping feels punishing. From what I see on the table right now Holy Paladin will be dead in the water until Plate tier sets. On my Priest I have a answer to everything and penance is a 12 second CD. Holy shock on a 12 sec cd would be nice too. So WOD for HPallies plz.

I hope that none of those runes would be added because we already have retail, what’s the point? SOD has space for EXPERIMENTS. Such things like shaman, warlock and rogue tank, mage healer, living flame, homunculi - they are all new and were never seen before. Why add another retail abilities? I’m hoping to get new passives for new playstyles which I’ve never seen before, actually NEW abilities, not retail ones. Not because I don’t like retail but because I can play it anytime I want but I could never play warlock-tank before SOD. I want to see developers experimenting with all their imagination and to have fun with new runes. I want new experience that I can’t get on retail.

Something that extends the range of Starsurge to 100 yards. Makes it hit at least 10 targets and give me mana back when I use it.

Just to stimulate forum activity… On a more serious note even though I don’t play one. I think they need to give Rogues their full tank kit. AOE threat etc

Also for kicks I’d like to see Hunter’s get a spell interrupt. Maybe even Runes that could interact with Beast Mastery to make the Hunter Pet be able to be an actual tank. Why? Because somehow there still seems to be a shortage most of the time.

I would love to somehow see the old Fire and Brimstone skill from MoP as a rune that is a toggle effect that makes my fire spells spend more mana in exchange they become AoE Spells.

It would be lovely to see my Incinerate, Imolation and Deflagrate as AoE Spells. Just like the rune that makes Shadow Bolt AoE.
