If its not your thing donā€™t do itā€¦some of us want a house in games because it gives us enjoyment. Thatā€™s why I love playing Valheim right now, Iā€™m going to be building a castle soon. Feels great to have my own home in a virtual world.

Thereā€™s many bad ideas on these forums but the worst is Anduin X whoever. Let Anduin grow up. Heā€™s still a young adult who got forced into being a king because his father died. He has no idea the weight of being the high and mighty overseer of the alliance and is maturing slowly into it now.

  1. Remove flying. If you donā€™t want flying, go play classic
  2. Add a holiday for my [insert political agenda here] (there have been many). See also - anyone trying to garner attention for their hotbutton political issue of the day.
  3. Add player housing
  4. Nerf whatever class - this is almost always made by someone who got ganked in wpvp.
  5. Adding more classes at a time when blizz is incapable of decent balance of the current classes (see: battlemage, tinker, necromancer, bard, etc.). Also, changing/adding specs to classes (other than DH, which has only 2). Common ones are adding a necromancer spec to warlocks, tank spec to shamans
  6. High elf anything thread
  7. Raider IO anything thread
  8. [Insert game name here] is the future WOW killer! (Many over the years: guild wars, ff14, lotr online, swtor, age of connan, etcā€¦) Related: Make WOW more like [Game]! (ff14 is the big one right now.)

There are SO many bad ideas on this forum, how do you pick the worst?

Get rid of cross-realm grouping, cross-realm zones, or group matchmaking tools.

Player housing.

Requests to get rid of borrowed power systems I will never understand.

Probably the worst of the worst, though, are any ideas that involve telling Blizzard how to staff their company are usually terrible, as are almost every idea telling them how to handle their finances. Yā€™all donā€™t know what their electric bill is so stop pretending you have any idea what development costs.

And then thereā€™s the insistence on turning the entire game into exclusively forced group play. Make all leveling challenging to the best players so new players will know their place, because theyā€™ll never learn anything unless they die over and over again with no indication why.
