Drives me nuts. I mean donât like it? Sure, there are things I donât like but the whole âget rid of xxx because I and my 4 buddies hate itâ. gtfo.
At least with High Elf threads, thereâs actual lore reasonings for it. (Silver Covenant)
Whereas with the Sanâlayn, theyâre in severe denial that the Sanâlayn no longer exist. The last Blood Princess was in Violet Hold and the last Blood Prince was in Volâdun.
They just tell you âNO THATâS NOT WHAT IT SAIDâ or âJUST BECAUSE THEYâRE GONE DOESNT MEAN MORE CANâT BE MADEâ even with screenshots of actual in-game text stating as such.
I felt the same way about Pet Battles when I heard about them. And I still feel itâs coming, the way that Pet Battles were foretold many years ago.
Iâm of the group âIf people want to play Thrallâs Dream Houseâ, let them. Just, please, no vendors or FPs. Make houses more like the bank, and not like garrisons.
thats a megathread, would you prefer the stuff put all over the forums in various differing threads? be lucky its just one thread now, unlike some of these âgive representationâ bait threads (not saying they all are but the amount of baiting i see from it is ridiculous)
imagine being against a race having customization options though like a tail
Well, the current narrative of the lore does not convince anyone else that horde and Alliance are important. Everything is as Blizzard wanted.
Well, the horde received zandalars as a new race, and the Alliance needed something to match the symmetry.
Did I want a purple blood elf, just in time and with some lore? Do not.
Could we have had half-elves? Or some new race?
Do not. Borrowed. Made by Horde.
Everything is as Blizzard wanted it to be.
Removal of factions or allowing cross-faction raiding/dungeons: Instead they need to actually create some hostility and drama between the factions that make it more believable. And stop having surprise Alliance/Horde teamups every expansion. How am I supposed to hate Thrall/Horde when I just went on a mission with him and saved him from Torghast?
There are still blood princes that nobody knows the location of. And then thereâs the given fact that random people have popped up with a similar curse. Like the pirates in Legion, perhaps the pirates crossed paths with one of these sanâlayn. I donât even like Sanâlayn as a race but itâs pretty much wrong to say they are extinct.
To be fair, I have the same opinion with regard to purple blood elves (a crack squad of 40 exiled blood elves) that did not exist until a laboratory accident that no one can reproduce until then, has a low lore and are less numerous than the High Elves, but they are playable because they hoped people would stop asking for something that Blizzard did not want to provide.
Like Vrykul? Arakkoas? Saberons? Jinyus? Sethraks? Half-Elves? Nope.
Much easier to copy something from the horde, irritating the horde and disappointing the alliance.
Here is the problem I have with Sanlayn. I think the only reason why there is any sort of popularity or hype for them on the forums is because of a handful of people who thought they may be a good idea or playable and started hyping them up. If it wasnât for the Sanlayn community we probably would not even see Sanlayn mentioned as an allied race suggestion much at all. The issue with Sanlayn is. There are so many races like this one that could be customization options or allied races that just havenât had many people talking about them so why them? Yet at the same time. I also feel that it is kind of unfair in an expansion about death that there is high elf options but no Sanlayn options. Unless dk options count as that.
