What race for rogue in Classic?

I’m torn between what class I should roll. I’m interested in wpvp.

Would night elf be best for shadowmeld?

Tough choice. I would go for dwarf. Stoneskin op removes blind. = skilled rogue means dwarf wins everytime. no stun rotation with blind gone.

Ally PVE = Human
Ally PVP = Generally Gnome is prefered but Dwarf is good vs Rogue and Warrior

Horde PVE = Orc
Horde PVP = Generally Orc is considered the heavyweight champion of PVP races. Undead isn’t bad tho.

Generally Nelf is the weakest Rouge race overall but if you value aesthetics over racials go for it.

I just want to compliment you on using the correct word, rogue, and not rouge. Alliance I’d go gnome or if you prefer Horde, Orc Orc baby.

This is what I was thinking as this toon is from Vanilla. I’m just not sure I want to go through leveling through Barrens again.

I just thought an extra stealth would be insane in wpvp. Never played a night elf. Don’t really care about aesthetics.

Orc, resisting stuns is HUGE, and then on top of +AP burst on daggers in pvp

I think Dwarf rogue.

Looks pretty cool, nice stealth animation… don’t worry about min-maxing with racial abilities etc.

If you’re looking into the future perhaps somehow past Classic, then Undead or Human. Will of The Forsaken and Perception is huge in arena.

I could not believe that they went there. Totally ick.

For the OP I played an undead rogue and liked it for the water breathing and WotF. Orc is probably better in most situations though. For Allies I’d echo everyone else saying Dwarf.
