What % of players have over 1 million gold?

I have over 2mil on one toon and probably about another 3 mil collectively on all my others combined. I’m a Horde Horder and hate to spend my money.

I want Francois the chicken that costs 1 million gold and I don’t want to spend that much gold on any chicken but I have really wanted that chicken for a long time. I have never had 1 million gold in almost 13 years of playing this game.

Stupid fabulous chicken gold sink :frowning:

Really?? I only have 16k, I only play m+ and raid, no gold farm. I think average for people who don’t farm gold is 15k-100k which I think is the majority of players, they just do main quests, unsub and quit.

He doesn’t cost 1M gold, just that he won’t interact with you unless you have at least that much on your character. If you do you get the pet, no cost at all.

You can always temporarily borrow it from friends or guildies and give it back after you get the pet.

He will interact with Horde players, but I’ve heard that with the level squish it’s very hard to not agro guards there and not get killed.

I made that in one week with selling 8 Sprite Darter Pets when they put that pet out in Legion…some folks didn’t want to do work for them…

Not me, but I have these guys:

400k in 9 months isn’t really something to boast about. I made 500k in one week just selling two random mount drops back in BFA. I’m not bragging, I’m just saying these guys with like multi millions are on a whole other level. I was lucky as hell to get those drops and even luckier that someone bought them.

These guys who have enough gold to fund multiple accounts don’t just farm herbs.

(OH SNAP! POSTING IN A NECRO’D THREAD!)

I’m not bragging because it was super easy, but I was making a million gold a month.

12 toons doing 3 callings a day, split in 3 groups of 4.

Runes were selling for a lot a few months ago, and Mission tables were done at lunch breaks.

Needless to say I got burnt out at 8.5 million I’m so close to cap but I haven’t played the game in 3 months

Like trying to be the best pvper or Raider it just requires time and dedication

To be fair I already had 1.7 million. I did it for about 6 months and I just couldn’t do it anymore

One million gold at one point. Shilling like a big boy-man-boy-shill-man for Blizzard, when you could get 200,000 Gold for $20 Via the WoW-Token. Was saving up for Mimeron’s Head, if and when it showed up on the BMAH. It showed up once, for my character, and was already at Gold-Cap, Max Bid. I was sick to my stomach, feverishly thinking that my dumpy butt, that couldn’t qualify for Mythic plus, or Ranked PVP, could somehow make 9,999,999 Gold, in… 12 to 24 hours.

So I did, and I was saving for the Mimeron’s Head Found. Ended up blowing it on a Flawless Arcanite Rifle for my Tauren Marksman Hunter, and a pair of leather Bluegill Breeches for my Salty Kultiran Round-boy you’re looking at right now.

For some reason, I found the 2k gold emissaries from BFA more tolerable on 12 characters than the idea of doing 3 callings on 12 characters. I guess it’s just more work? I dunno.

I keep money on two servers. One server to pay for playing and the other server to put money into my BNet account. Both have over a million in my alt banks.

I know for a fact that even without logging on and checking that if you combined all the gold from all of my characters that I would have over 1 million gold. I know this for a fact because my main has over a million gold all by himself, so it makes it easy. :stuck_out_tongue:

The question is why would I need 1 Million gold. I can afford my monthly sub. I dont want to work in the game to pay for my sub. I can afford consumables and in-game mats for my legendary just by playing casually. If I get more gold, I would waste it for something. As if there’s a mount that I want to buy. But there’s not much. Buying a carry is also a no-no to me. I rather beat the game myself at my own terms.

I think the percentage of players having 1M gold should be around 8-10%… I mean looking at the replies in this thread alone, should give you a good idea.

The average gold per players is a different story though since you will have those super rich and those super poor… a guess would be around 150k-200k average.

As for me , I’m currently sitting on 83M liquid across all servers… and maybe an extra 10-15M worth of goods

Almost two years later, compared to my previous reply:

Wealthiest character has 2.3 million, and on Alexstaza-Terokkar I have just over 10 million total. So I’ve made 9 mil since going nearly broke getting longboi in December 2019

I’ve got about a million in total now. Early in the expansion I did well with flasks. Now it’s bags, leather and cloth.

For a game that’s supposedly dead, I can sell tons of embersilk bags everyday at decent profits.

I can make 1 million in one evening early in the session.

Right now I’m starving tho spent 1m gold on mage tower gear and haven’t made any gold in like 3 weeks cuz the m+ cuts are trash this late into the tier.

Need new season so I can make gold blizz plz I beg
