I didn’t say there was anything wrong with that. 
All I’m saying is, is that the reason we “need” these races, is because some actual variation to what we’ve got would be nice. It’s a bit tiring playing games where it’s more or less just Humans, Elves and Dwarves.

Probably the same reason people want Ogres and Murlocs to be playable, and I feel just the way about them as you do for the Sethrak and apparently High Elves.

A tailed Worgen Allied race, or with options or something such as saberon or extra chest manes, extra chest fluff etc models could be kinda neat to look more 'wolfy, wild, strong, primal, rip your face out werewolf… or at least bodybuilder spraypainted gray wolf will do XD"
Flat out literal zombies for the undead allied race, like bloodstained raw teeth, horror movie zombies could be really cool too. Like the L4d2 apocalypse style fantasy. Hell don’t even let them speak, allow them to eat other forsaken brains and be canonically mindless and thirst for the flesh of the living. Give us cannibalistic scourge raised by Sylvanas to devour undercity, Arthas gets the controlled scourge, Sylvanas gets the test tube explosion baby reaction zombie apocalypse! 
I know ill never be able to play as a fae dragon. (Or any dragon) None of the shadowlands races should ever be playable either. The entire game should not be either alliance or horde.
High elves will never happen (at least on the alliance) and chances are orges will never happen. The optimism is ‘cute’ but annoying. Stop living in the past.
I always have a feeling that high elves is not a matter of “if” but “when”. Especially when they keep getting added as NPCs and are still making appearances in pivotal story moments.
When is january 2007 when they were added to the horde. They are not going to add an exact copy/paste of a current race. Void elves are as close as it will get and even that was too much.
How many time do blizzard reps have to say that high elves = blood elves.

My top picks are Ogres and Mogu for the Horde. I’d roll both in a heartbeat.
The Alliance could get Broken and Jinyu.
If they ever added another neutral race (I know Blizz said they don’t want to, but they’ve backpedaled before) my #1 pick for those would be Ethereals.
Lightbound Undead. Upright and kinda glowy or something, I dunno. Would work as a customisation option.

We say old races because they take less time then completly new races. There are many races rn that would be cool now to have

Well I was hoping that after BFA was a time of peace so Blizz could’ve gave us a short xpac that was nothing but new races and character customizations for existing ones. I would give up an xpac or two for that any day.
But I’ve always wanted Mok’nathal. I actual think Ogres have been needed for the Horde for a long time and instead of BE’s or Goblins we should’ve gotten Ogres imo.
Other races I like are Saberon, Botani, Wolvar though I can’t see them being playable, San’layn even though I’m not an elf fan, Dragonkin, and Murlocs are first to come to mind.
Murlocs would be so cool if they had skills or a class to themselves that allowed us to do what the one in HotS or the Nazjatar WQ allow us to do. Could even be racials that allow us to summon a shark to swallow enemies in an aoe or something.
If sethrak are against the rules of this thread, then I’d like something draconic at least. I don’t like the dragonman design from Cataclysm, and drakonid seem far too big to be playable, so I’m not really sure what it would look like in the end.
However, if it’s a truly new race and not being based on existing rigging like sethrak and saurok are, then the sky’s really the limit in terms of their posture, body shape, and so on!

According to lore, it’s very easy to bribe a Gnoll, which is why you see them in lots of bad guy groups like Venture Co and Defias.
