The Force makes no moral judgements. You go dark not for your evil acts, but for losing your cool while doing them. A stone cold sociopath, which Vader was NOT could be the lightest force user you ever saw. Anakin Skywalker fell precisely because he cared too much… which has some paralells with Arthas. The difference between the two was that Arthas remained totally self-centered.
I don’t know crap about Starwars. I’m a Warhammer type of dork. So I’ll take your word for it, absolutely. Based on your fair explanation, I have concluded that the force is, indeed, an idiot.
Horde players on the other hand have no choice but to be put in the role of lackeys of whatever moustache twirling villain the Devs saddle the Horde with.
Can we not talk about Star Wars. Vader’s “redemption” is a joke. Can you even call it that?
And The Force is a hot mess based on 60s and 70s woowoo. It is the flimsiest “magic system”/“religion” in recent memory that falls upon even the faintest scrutiny.
Something that really annoyed me early BfA was when people referred Geya’rah as “Lady Thrall.” It is entirely incorrect as well as tells me they don’t understand how the butterfly effect and time travel works. If anything she is closer to being Thrall’s sister from a different timeline than anything else.
Well yeah. Anduin and Jaina are the most merciful of the Alliance’s leaders. And let’s not act like they’re going to let Genn and Tyrdande become out and out villains in the vein of Garrosh and Sylvanas when they end up going after anyone.
I don’t think we can call it a joke when little kids want to dress up as him for Halloween and choose to join him and the dark side when they visit Disneyland and everyone in the audience goes “Aaaawww!”.
Say what you want about it, the “redemption” worked.
Thanks for the correction, I completely forgot that Alleria had several elves with her when she went to Outland. I’m not as familiar with Warcraft 2 lore and I’ve only played through Outland once properly, on a Horde character.
Retconned in Chronicles, which is no longer canon thanks for that Danuser (/s), and then again in 8.2 when Thalyssra wags her finger at Shandris and informs her that the Nightborne were protecting the pillars.
Because hey let’s dump on Night Elves some more since that’s the theme of BfA.
