ahem, maybe a perfect location for:
Torghast couldâve been the perfect mode minus the roguelike elements.
Make it 1-4 players max
Add platforms and traps
Implement a 3 count life system
It needs to be different from M+ that it has its own identity, stuff that challenges that players recognition of patterns like the shock bots in mechagon and not puzzles that can be exploited by add-ons like the merchant segment in Streets.
i liked the idea of islands & torghastâŚ
itâs too bad blizzard never responded to feedback, and forced us to test these unfinished activities while the xpac was live, only to give up on them though
Donât get me wrong, I love killing things in-game but it gets really repetitive after awhile. I want a Zelda-themed raid but with puzzles. I want to feel challenged both mentally and physically in game. I want randomized puzzles, not just ones where ou can look up on google.,
Yea itâs annoying. I wish theyâd incorporate these features into the game instead of just abandoning them after each expansion.
We already had:
- 3 man Scenarios
- MoP Farm
- Garrisons
- Class Halls
- Island Expedition
- Warfronts
All abandoned.
I would love a World Quest Plus mode or a Campaign Plus mode.
I can imagine quite a few campaign quests throughout all xpacs which, if the challenge was greater and you could actually fail, would be quite fun.
It would be similar to how in Diablo, Hell-mode Hellforge was VERY hard, even for geared players, to the point that youâd just have to give up sometimes. BUT he had a chance to drop a powerful, rare rune.
Why not a cross faction raid where one factions needs to clear x for the other to do Y, though while waiting for x to be cleared, the ones waiting to do y could be making sure x can be cleared by killing mobs or doing other things.
ââŚGarrisonâŚâ
I might be one of the few left, but I actually like building up my Garrison.
I just unlocked the Fishing Shack level 3âŚ
âŚafter many hours of fishing.
(Never again.)
The potential was there, it just needed to become the âhome baseâ for the following expansions, or at least the player housing where we could display our achievements
Iâm still a little salty we never got to have racial-themed buildings
I would probably end up making all mine either Gnome, Dwarf, or a mix of both.
Though we did get to choose our soldiers to an extent. I always make mine Gnome, but ya need the Barracks at level 2 or 3 I think to have that option.
idk man i wanna game - i dont wanna make games
impress me.
the object of this topic is to find out what people want in their game, not asking for programing or anything, just after things that the devs might be able to implement of they ever deign to read and act on the forums.
Iâm happy with jut M+. Maybe have more dungeons like the 12 BFA had. Iâm content with that
When you say it like that.
Legion 2.0 without artifact and a focus on more class theme stuff would be nice.
You seem to be saying that thereâs enough challenging content (which happens to be the content you like), but challenging content should be less rewarding. So you want less rewards, or you just want that for other people?
Do you not do content because you want to be better than others? Surely you donât want to be worse, right?
I donât think he wants it, but is saying too many want to be like âlook at me, look at me, I am so much better then those plebsâ and the more unique or interesting rewards their are, the less these people enjoy the game as their fun is linked to what they have over other players.
Iâm not actually looking for âchallengingâ content personally.
I just want to have fun.
The nice thing about content that can be outgeared/outleveled is that people who want to climb mountains can push it when itâs current and I can visit it later when itâs not and in the end we all get to experience it in our own ways.
Yeah, I canât wait for some rock climbing in wow to get started on.
The thing is. Riddles, puzzles, etc are only a challenge for the first person to complete it.
After that, for most peopleâŚyou just follow a guide or know the answers before hand.
