My level 4 Horde Druid was in Hardcore Classic. I never died on her. I made it to lv 4 and stopped playing Hardcore Classic for a year. I came back to the character to see what became of her. And found that not only did I have to rename my character; But was also was MOVED to a retail server. It looks like she was randomly moved to Nesingwary server. Why? What happened?
Are you sure that the character wasn’t created on a classic server?
I dunno, might have to wait until the morning for one of the Support Forum Agents to check it out.

If you’re finding a character under retail, then it would have been created under retail. There is no way for any HC character to get to retail, as HC servers are attached to the classic servers, not the retail servers. The retail and classc servers are not connected, HC characters are also do not auto transfer. To move off a HC server you have to go to the Blizzard store and purchase a Free Transfer.
The HC servers are no longer under their own tab, make sure you log into the Classic Servers, and if you created the character a year ago, it would likely be on Skull Rock or Defias Pillager.

As Kynsa mentioned, that simply isn’t possible.
Make sure you are selecting Classic WoW in the options and looking on the Hardcore realms. From what I can see you only have one Classic character, which is a level 5 Tauren Druid on Skull Rock.
