What’s a pet theory you like to hold, even if you know it’s absolutely not true?
Personally, I like to think that the nods in Legion and BfA to the continued presence of the Dragonmaw Clan in the Horde post-Garrosh and the fact that we didn’t get any Dragonmaw customizations for the Orc revamp means that Blizzard is going to be giving them the Allied Race treatment.
Obviously never going to happen, but that’s why I put on my tinfoil hat for it.

A long time ago before there was flying, a guildmate told me that blizzard will purposely look for afk players in the wild that think they found a safe spot to stand and will path a mob at them to kill them. I thought it was nonsense till one day not long after, I was on the phone sitting afk in the barrens and for ten minutes no mobs came near me. I got up to use the bathroom and came back to my ghost at the spirit healer. I still half believe it to this day.

Blizzard wants me to buy tokens so I can afford the AH mount.

Mine goes back to the Horde Legion Victory feast. The main course was a wild boar, which is confirmed in Before the Storm. But if you go to Borean Tundra and listen to Saurfang, he says “I don’t eat pork.” My belief is someone poisoned his meal to make him turn traitor against Sylvanas.

I feel like Chromie is going to end up as the biggest bad we have ever come across.
I have no reason to believe that but I do.

Genn Greymane is actually the new leader of the Scarlet Crusade. Unlikely because of their human purity belief but I still like to think it.

Did people ever settle on a theory about who was trying to kill her?

Occasionally, I have this peculiar feeling that I’m living in a simulated reality. Like some sort of a game I suppose.

Blood Elves on the Horde were an inside joke that went too far.

Theory: Blizzard adds store mounts, pets, and deals during droughts in order to keep the numbers high.

I half believe that the reason that shamans are always in a bad place is that one of the higher ups has a grudge against them. Whether it’s because a shaman beat them in PVP or did better than them in a dungeon, I don’t know. All I can think is someone out there doesn’t like shaman, and since they can’t delete us, they nerf us into the ground.

My tinfoil hat theory goes way, way, way back. I’m still positive you can actually get a Tin Foil Hat item by farming Blackrock Orcs.

Player Housing will never happen because the amount of gold earned from quests hasn’t risen in proportion to the rising costs of living in the major Azerothian cities. This is compounded by an aging population of First War veterans, collectively known as Doomers (a nod to being contemporaries of Orgrim Doomhammer) who control most of the world’s wealth.

No, no, no. Aluminium, or Tin Foil, is a metal. You get it by mining Blackrock Orcs.

The Horde itself is actually evil, and they just keep setting up leaders to take the fall for their crimes.
Sylvanas fans are right and she actually is good. Her fall was just an elaborate ploy by the Horde at large to commit genocide again with no reproductions.
