Pratt was really off as Mario. Everyone else nailed it.
I thought Mario was a fat Italian guy.
Just have Adam Sandler or Ben Stiller put on a fat suit and do an Italian accent. o lame how Christ Pratt gets every role now. He is good but overrated. Adam as Mario. Ben as Wario.
Have funny and action moments.
Jack Black being in it will make me watch it though. But he plays Bowser. No speaking parts there unless they change his lore a little bit to fit Jacks acting style. He was great in Jumanji.
Other versions of mario went a more new york route so its not that out there
And Jack Black can voice act so I totally knew he’d be great as Bowser
He’s the white orb in this and he totally fooled me
I’m still trying to figure out how I feel about Chris Pratt as Mario. Other than that, I think everyone else is killing it. I can’t wait to hear more of Charlie Day as Luigi. I love Charlie Day, and Luigi has always been my all-time favorite Mario character, with a close second being Toad. They are both perfect in this movie.

The Mushroom Kingdom looks wonderous and according to a Poster shown a couple days before the Trailer it seems that it combines that wonder with the same sort of world of The New Adventures of Super Mario Bros 3.
The New Adventures of Super Mario Bros 3 had the same platforms as the Games and this Movie has those as well.
If the Movie goes well then hopefully Nintendo makes Mario & Zelda TV Shows.
Visually STUNNING. Still not sold on Chris Pratt though.

His life is a rough one, but that’s okay. He’s still awesome.
He’s still awesome indeed. I’m sure the movie will do great so I’m curious if we’ll see characters like Wario and Waluigi in later movies.

It’d be great to see them too at some point. If they are planning to do more films after this one, I’m guessing that they will drop a bit of a hint about them (if they are going to appear at all) before, during or after the end credits, kinda like how Sonic was handled. And basically any movie in existence.
Wish I could put in as much effort as Chris Pratt did and get paid even half as much at my job.

Look a certain character teased at the end of 2 was like. My first video game crush as a kid. lol
I was pretty dang excited about that. They are my favorite Sonic character.

Lil curious how they might handle that character because we don’t see any hint of Amy showing up and she’s kinda important for this. Eh it’ll probably be Sonic’s human dad for that part
Amy probably wouldn’t have generated as much hype, but I would be surprised if she didn’t show up as well.
True. It would just be a bit odd to introduce so many characters in one movie. We’ll see

I love how there are attempts to bury this thread already. Their post is already being hidden. Well, too bad, Warcraft was mentioned. Guess the OP got the last laugh.
Sonic 1 and 2 were poggers, those movies are how any video game film should be. The credits were so well done with letting fans of the games feel like it was meant for them.

Normally I prefer voice actors over celebs doing voices. But Idris Elba really went and did his homework for Knuckles and I just think that’s awesome.
Altho its a bit hard for me to unhear the Travis Willingham version lol
