What is with Alliance in EotS?

Not if you can out-rotate them and hold 2 while controlling mid/flag. They are pretty much just chasing you in circles around the map. You can believe what you want to though lol.

If you can control mid it also gives you in advantage in which you can move to the furthest towers on the otherside of the map without getting caught up fighting in mid. It allows you to move faster.

You just can’t defend bases. You can lose one base in 5 seconds. The only way pugs can do is keep pushing bases. Any time you see 1-3, 90% no coming back, gg.

But I’m not talking about only holding 1 base
nobody is disagreeing that if you hold 1 and mid you will lose. You will definitely lose lol.

And thats why when you see a base about to get rolled you just move to another one. The flag cap strat works by rotating out of bases that you are most likely going to lose and moving to the next one. Sustaining 2 nodes.

I hardly see puga can do that kind of rotation. Once you are in 1-3 situation,90% no come back. Best strat is always Everyone push, forget flag. If you can’t win with that, you 100% can’t win with holding two bases.

I’ve won in several pugs thats way—with proper callouts. But yes, it’s tough to pull off, you are correct. And I’m not disagreeing with you, 3 nodes is definitely the best strat.

This argument doesn’t explain why EotS is so much worse than WSG or AB though. AV is another animal altogether so we’ll just leave that one out of the discussion.

Alliance is by far the inferior faction.

Eots is the most dependent on straight team fighting. The inferior faction loses more consistently.

WSG and AB are still awful as alliance, but there is more of a chance for a few good players to make the difference.

AV has almost nothing to do with any of the above, but horde still scum out 2+ WM wins that should be impossible, and screw the alliance out of our only way to get honor.

The problem with alliance is that they have zero healers. Horde will have 2 disc priests and 3 resto druids. Alliance have 4 ret pallies, a shadow priest, 2 ferals in tank gear, and an enhance shaman. Its 90% comp and 10% intelligence.

Today I can’t even get them to win one AV for the daily.

Just a bunch of people from Pagle preaching about honor and to ignore Drek

Our garbage strats cost us honor anyway. We let the horde scum win the game with 2+ warmasters up.

this should be impossible, but nobody seems to care. our entire faction is getting shafted by the AV bosses being too weak, and horde scumming out zerg wins for marks, denying us our only source of honor.

Thats an AV phrase

let me just mash page up to find out who asked

It’s cyclic. Every BG seems to get its moment. I recall winning like 19/20 WSGs in a weekend once. Most were 3-0.

Then I’ll go through stretches where we are lucky to capture a flag.

Ret > most things.

Alliance loot box.
+3 marks and over 900 honor for daily win.
Increased honor for turning in a set of bg marks.

And still most of the team is so eager to roll over and go home with 1 mark per 20 minutes. Or fight on roads to “HK farm for honor.”

Shortsighted and ignorant.
Mindset needs to change.

clash mid bro trust me

Comp is biggest issue.

Horde I’ve fought against that are strong usually have a few resto druids and disc priests and maybe a holy pally.

Alliance I get put with usually have no healer and undergeared teammates. For whatever reason a lot of alliance que up with greens and quest blues and spend 90% of the match dead.

Gear is a big problem, it seems horde usually lead with more damage done healing done and look quite geared.

I think it’s also just due to the randomness of matchmaking. I lost 4 games trying to do daily. I left for shower and came back to win 4.

Go shower guys.
