What is to come?

I know that it’s probably too early, and this question won’t have an immediate answer from Blizzard but I’m honestly just posting this to get the thought out there.

Are there plans to release some of the unreleased stuff from WoD?

I’m actually looking forward to Legion, but we know there’s WoD in the middle and it might just be a second chance for us to see some of the cool stuff that was missed. I also look forward to that.

Some people might quit after MoP, then WoD with a Legion waiting room, then Legion hype and they all come back.
Just like the Wotlk-Cata-Mop transition we’ve just seen.

I think the Blizz team are likely going to release some Anniversary Wotlk or SoD Wotlk during WoD, or are they going to stop altogether? That is unless we get 3rd ww

You’ll find out at Blizzcon.

they are going to be at gamescon for retail maybe they might also say their plans for classic that or what crud said and we gotta wait until blizzcon next year

Doubtful. My guess is WoD is going to be treated more like Cata was while whatever new seasonal content is up at the time gets its special treatment like SoD did

It’s one subscription; why would they be at a convention for one specific iteration of the game, rather than representing their whole lineup?

:woman_shrugging:

They didn’t release any unreleased stuff from other expansion packs.

Wait for the announcement at Blizzcon '26.

Trust the plan.

tbh, i hope they end the “Classic” series at legion. Best expansion they ever came out with imo (i started playing in mop, tbc rerelease is my second favorite).

I think ill enjoy wod too, given they have a second chance at going about the content a different way/adding more what they had originally scrapped.
