I have a bunch of low level characters I am leveling. I play each and every one, each day.
Recently (since the patch) I have been receiving in game mail with two items in them. I cannot collect them I can only delete them. Both sometimes will not delete and then I have mail in my box that will prevent me doing a transfer for the next 30 days.
Is this something that was deliberate on Blizzards part?
I am not happy.

To get the mails to delete, try taking the items and then clicking delete.
I try to collect them but I get a “you cannot collect this item.” error message.
Yes, that will show. But at that point you can then hit DELETE on the mail.
This works best if you open the mail, click the icon of the item, see the error message, then click to delete the mail.
At least that is how it works for me using Postal addon.
After you click the item to try to collect and you get your error message, close your mailbox and then reopen it. The mail will still be there but the item within the mail will be gone. You can then delete it.
A lot of my alts got this mail too it is very odd. I keep coming to the boards to see if there’s a reason or explanation to what it even is. I usually just delete these strange bugged pieces of mail. I just don’t have the time to log into everybody to check (I have a lot of alts), but it seems to be level 60s that it’s happening to and up. I haven’t seen it happen to anyone lower than that yet. I notice if you don’t delete the items in the mail and reload, then go look at the mail again the items will just be gone.
It is happening at every level for me.
The overall issue should be hotfixed. You may still need to manually clear that mail, but new ones shouldn’t be arriving anymore.
