This one actually came from a cm iirc. Was real id was freely available to see by any players. Look I hate trolling as much as the next troll but all that’d do is cause massive harassment problems. Glad it got nixxed.

If we’re talking about suggestions or things that were planned to be implemented, yeah, it’s kinda hard to top RealID.
I remember one of the Devs I think it was (might have been a CM) posting their name to “prove” it was safe and then getting immediately doxxed.
What an awful idea that was.
Edit: It was Bashiok. He had to change his number, delete facebook and live in a motel because it got that bad.

When I was younger and first started playing. I thought it would be the coolest thing ever to have Undead characters as Druids and have their shapeshifts be an undead bear or cat etc.
I even went as far as to post it on the forums back in the days of Wrath and was so excited. Now that I’m older I tell myself, what was I thinking?
