What is the secret to getting black lotus

I have never experienced that as you described it but I genuinely wouldn’t doubt your story provided the “quality” blizzard is known for now

mail me 200g and ill reveal the super-secret strategy to corner the black lotus market

I’m a rogue.
I gank a lot of people.

There are very clearly some people using Botnets to try to offline people who dare to attack them on a PVP server. It’s very obvious when you kill someone and instantly DC or the game starts rubberbanding like crazy the moment your first attack lands.

There’s all sorts of cheaters on this game.
Another one is setting up weakauras(or other addons) to automatically cast specific abilities based on preset conditions.
Another still is people buying gold.

It honestly seems like half of the playerbase is okay with cheating on WoW for any number of reasons ranging from “It’s a 20 year old game” to “I don’t have time to farm.”

The secret is to have a underground hack + bot.

The most common cheating I see in Era and its even rare is the players using Lag switching (speed hacking) but I have seen a small hand full using scripts to apply DoT and debuffs and stuff like that… I have only seen ONE player using full hack client to PVP and he’s a LOL-GLAD… kek… dude cheats so obvious its so bad.

This was what happened with Terocone in TBC Classic. Bots running a circuit around each zone hitting all spawn points over and over again.

If was practically a miracle if a normal player managed to get one.

an open api is a can of worms, but ‘my addons!’

I got a BL on Classic 2019.
Two seconds after I looted it an UD Mage ran past me and picked the Mountain Silversage I’d walked past to get the BL.

That was the only one I got in 2019.

Yea, again, that’s exactly what Terocone was like in TBC classic. If you did manage to grab one, before you had it out of the ground you’d hear the dismount SFX and sure enough some rando would drop out of the sky until it was gone and then take right off again.

Swiper no swiping!

I’ve been actively farming lotus for the last three weeks and I’ve managed to get about 1 lotus a week after putting in probably 40 hours.

Here is what I’ve seen.

  1. Every single Black Lotus node has a “player” nearby farming whatever mobs happen to be there. 24/7 that player will be farming the same mobs but never leave sight of the Black Lotus spawn. These include mages that single target easy AOE mobs and hunters that glitch if you sheep their pet.

  2. Have a Shaman with Far Sight or Hunter with Eagle Eye sitting in town scouting for the lotus spawns to coordinate those farming “players”

  3. If all else fails use underground exploits to fly underground and ignore mobs. I’ve always heard these types of bots exist but this is the first time I’ve seen them out and about with no fear of bans.

All three lotus I managed to grab came from them spawning right on top of me as I ran by and just happened to be a few yards closer than the “players” farming there.

I used to be skeptical that these existed as well, until one time I saw a nameplate pop up under the map on an herb I was about to pick. They seem to stay logged out most of the time and only login when the herb is up to go pick it, so you won’t see them in /who either.

You have to be really lucky to see them, but you can see the effects of their presence, as you can walk an entire zone and find no herbs.
