i found 3 on PvE realm first week and one more since. I like seeing them from the FP.
I don’t have an herb char yet on fresh but the entire time people complained about bots and under the map etc on classic and then era I found BL. Best way I found was rather than farm the Lotus by doing loops where lotus is. Farm something else, where lotus spawns. A lot of them spawn by other high value farms. Cover 2 or 3 nodes not the entire zone. And don’t expect a lotus every day.

there is too many ways to find lotus but here is the easiest one.
early morning there are only 3 layers, more layers get added when more people login, so be online early and the moment you find layer 4 you switch to it, there will be lotus in their maps ready to be picked up but still you gotta check all locations asap once u jump to the new layer if it’s the 4th or 5th or 6th upon release.
I have to agree with Chad here. If you want BLotus on pvp you need to roll up with a gank squad or dual box both factions.
You have to keep in mind the amount of people also trying to find them and so many of them are gold sellers (seriously I cannot tell you the amount of them I have seen in EPL on nightslayer.)
Sometimes you get lucky and sometimes you just don’t, I had a day where I got 7 and that was the most I had ever gotten in a single day, then I proceeded to not find one for 2 days straight.
Yup, what surprises me is how insecure the network actually is that allows hack / custom clients to even operate in 2024.

Perhaps they should put special unkillable mobs underground around the spawn
points. Have the mobs stay in their spot so they cant be pulled away.
Anytime any character gets within the distance to pick the herb.
The mob unleashes a AoE (underground only) attack that will one shot anything
within range.
You will never get one because bots are under ground waiting for the lotus.

Meanwhile, 700 people are doing the exact same thing. There is no easy way to get lotus - you just have to get lucky.
I like it when the whole server lags and/or I get DC"d after I gank specific people.
Sometimes I even gett DDoS’d.
I’m sure it’s my computer/internet and not just WoW even though WoW is the only game this happens on.
This is the QoL we needed. I mean, I’m grateful they let us use Dual Spec on the anniversary realms, but the LEAST they could have done is put the BL as an additional rare loot on other herbs.
Just admit that they lost the bot war and give us the BL as a random rare drop instead of this nonsense.

Cuz people are leaving gifts of arthas, and golden samsam on the ground so the nodes don’t reset.
Even if bots didn’t exist, real player mafias exist for Classic; devilsaur leather was another one. A lot of resources are scarce in Classic and people know which ones they are, and the worst part is Black Lotus price will only go up over time when the more challenging raids come out as the availability will not go up, but the demand will rise.
Those don’t affect black lotus at all. They are on their own spawn timer.
