part of a ‘woof’ moment for me was doing a /who Ironforge and /who Stormwind in the middle of the day on Bloodsail and getting like… 4 people total, myself included
i’m sure it’s a vastly different story if i was interested in BC Classic and went to that variant of Bloodsail but
Speaking as someone from MG itself on Horde side, Gotosh I believe pretty much nailed it on the head.
I have my own experiences with regards to WRA that I will not air but generally turned me off the server but don’t really lambast or blast as the entirety of WRA as that’s neither constructive or productive but I digress.
Least in regards to WRA Alliance and MG Horde, I do wish more people realized that having stable pops on both faction is GOOD for cross-factional RP and events, making it easier to organize for the neutrals/third parties who organize the vast amount of social events I see happening on WRA and MG.
Way I see, both servers having stable and growing factions is good for everyone and it’s not a competition. People should work together for the betterment of both servers (If they’re so inclined.)
I meant to say “So when you have a very large population where there is some times more odd things happening, people who are not familiar with this mentality and are from WRA might not know how to react to it.” I added not for some reason…
But yeah, both servers have a developed psychology based on what they hear about its reputation, and thus attracts different kind of players and then it results in some disagreements with servers and so on. MG and WRA are not really all too different, its just…MG has a huge Alliance player base. I also just find anaylizing RP players and seeing why they do the things they do so I have a lot of observations from all my interactions and comparisons. I’m sorry you had some not too positive experiences on WRA, it’s still a wonderful server and you’re always welcome to bop around in Org!!
And yeah I really do wish people would stop saying “Go to MG for Alliance”. Not that people shouldn’t play Alliance on MG! I just wish people like…boosted up their own server instead of sending everyone over there. Or at least I feel like more people should should Duel Wield the servers.
Well its quite literal. They are roleplaying literal cats from the warrior series.
clears throat From my darker days when I read the books in middle school (and my IRL friend who non-apologetically loves the series) iirc it was about feral cats living in clans. These clans would regularly go to war with each other. Plenty of blood, gore, and clan hierarchy going on for a children’s book. They tended to be ERP centric at times based off certain people’s TRP’s stating they had a harem.
Edit: Its been a while so I might be wrong. Feel free to correct me if you know more. Those were interesting times back in WoD.
