What is the longest you’ve gone without a shower and why?

Me, two weeks because it was covid time and I was busy playing games.

Two weeks or so. I was lazy and didn’t have any reason to go out. Also during covid lockdown, so fully work from home.

I’d just layer on some extra deodorant whenever I couldn’t stand my own stench.

3 days, but I was camping.

A month because I was in the military in a training exercise and no one out in the desert with me took a shower.

Showering too frequently washes bacteria off your skin that is actually beneficial to you.

I am about a every other week shower taker.

I have done 2 months before while I was critically ill, in the hospital.

3 days. scout camp outing with no shower support locked down. Event not run by us but the Japanese equivalent. they like sites with no shower support.

Weather still hot at the time. and the site had little to no wind so even still hot at night. was more the worst of times than the best of times that one.

Maybe like two or three days because the power was out.

I’d be in shambles if I couldn’t shower for a week. :dracthyr_comfy_sip:

I would only expect a question like this to be on a forum like this.

Three days of the most MISERABLE camping trip of my life . . . Fel it rained for two of those days which did not help matters.

Yeah I’ve known people that hold the same ideals and they stank like high hell but didn’t realize it. At the VERY least people should shower every 3 days.

Any more then 2 days (days off from work ) will shower if going anywhere . If camping thenn when I get back .

i know i broke the month before but i don’t remember why. college was good times.

I shower once per week, on Saturday morning. Daily showering is criminally stupid.

I bet you live alone eh?

Do you mean an actual “Shower” shower? Or any kind of bathing?

For the first, Iʻd say 2-3 months. A Hurricane hit and we lost our house. lived in a tent until we could rebuild. No water service for months… folks had to go to the river to fill trashcans with water to flush the toilets kinda thing… so yeah showers were not a thing. Bathing in the river was.

i only wash my hands in the bathroom at work if there’s someone else there who would judge me.

Agreed. I was in a hospital for a week then some sort of rehab rest place for almost month and had to at least ask for the dry shampoo for my hair.

Being older now showering too often just makes my aging skin dryer. Plus after the surgeries and being disabled standing for very long is painful - those tub/shower benches just don’t work well. So about once a week or every 6 days.

This is a very weird thread for gd! Lol

What is a shower? Sometimes it rains when I am fishing…

Everyday y’all dirty.
