As the title suggest im curious what the best class is for 1v1 dueling. Excluding healers and tanks.
I would say between druids, rogues, and pallies

Windwalker does pretty well 1v1
High mobility, self heals, emergency port, decent CC, and good damage.
I’d say survival hunters can 1v1 any meele in the game, but rogues are a good jack of all traits option
SV struggles with unholy because of the pets preventing heals but BM can handle them if played properly.
Overall hunter can definitely beat anything 1v1 but it takes more effort and is far less forgiving than say a DH or rogue.
I’d say DH or assas rogue with DH being more forgiving

Assassination/Havoc/Windwalker probably have the most favorable matchups

Elemental isn’t terrible at 1v1, you can see quite a few holding their own in Durotar. Definitely better than Arms, MM and Aff in 1v1
Druids, Rogues, Monks, Mages and Paladins.
I’ve seen some pretty impressive stuff from Shadow Priest though, so I doubt they’re that bad.
You can see impressive stuff from players playing all classes even Enh Shaman. Doesn’t mean they are good .
I think I will add Fury Warrior to my list of bad dueling classes. Just had a Fury Warrior with 468 ilevel die twice to me in the Vale. I don’t know much about it but I assume he must know how to play his class with his ilevel .

Fire mage can do pretty well in duels. If you can pull off the sheep > gpyro > ring > gpyro combo, your enemy basically starts the fight at 30% health

Rogues hands down, they have the best immunity in the game, stealth. And they have plenty of easy ways to get back into it. So they can just keep on resetting the fight till the opponent inevitably run out of CDs. and rogue CDs are shorter than most.
Not to mention they always get to initiate the fight with CC and burst, putting their opponent on the backfoot.
Rogues, but if you have line of sight to abuse Feral/WW is up quite high.
This is 90% of the reason I want a small movement speed buff.

I would like to add resto druids who liberally use cyclone to the list.
havent been beaten by hunter this xp pretty much everything else but not hunter luck i guess
