I just read a thread where the OP had the idea that the amount of left groups could appear in the character info screen.
I kind of liked that idea.
That way, people will have an idea if the player they’re thinking about taking on will just up and zots out of there at any given time for whatever reason.
But as for suspensions/bans, those should only ever be done if there’s a valid reason, otherwise it becomes a hollow threat.
You knew that though.
deaths to avoidable mechs, times they dont interupt but could have, times they didnt dispel but could have.
should also show if its above or below the player averages.
but blizzard knows exactly what would happen if they actually showed the stats we wanted. all their casual players would no longer get into any groups and quit the game OR they would be forced to actually make good content for casuals which they dont want to spend money doing.
I’m not so sure. Some players would have a hard time getting into groups but I think that already happens, judging by all the complaints I read about on these forums.
But if they did a stats page that showed all of that, there’d have to be a time line shown too because everyone was new at one point and, like I said before, this game has changed a lot over the years.
This is cool. Instead of getting banned you lose like 700 points for every leave, and you don’t start gaining it back until you complete three runs without leaving.
yeah you are right. maybe have player averages per season. then it will show bad averages when they were in earlier seasons but if they improve in new seasons their averages improve too, its honestly not that dissimilar to raider io score already. just gives better info to let us know who to invite
On the other hand if you stand in fire you subtract a point for every 100k health you lose. Minus 50 points for a missed interrupt and 200 for pulling when not a tank.
I’m behind this in theory, I think we can haggle over numbers if necessary, I’m not really calculating how this functions in practice, you may be spot on, I’m just not calculating it right now.
It is a good idea, Greybrook (edited to correct the dwarfs name) came up with that idea but didn’t give out numbers.
His thread should still be up.
As for me, I don’t even group up anymore. I was just goofing off when I made comments about titles and achieves for leaving groups.
I still think that’s kind of funny but that’s me.
I think it’s overall fair. Players are forced to get better giving leavers less incentive to leave. The leavers take a ding for leaving deterring them from leaving.
