Probably shrug and get on with it. Be a little more careful, I guess, likely group up more.
Oh, and actually make a point of getting that PvP gear.

Forced? Meaning Warmode would be on without me clicking it to be on? And not allowing me to turn it off? Nah, Iād not play that month and itās highly possible that I would quit the game entirely.
Nothing I said was meant to be snarky or condescending, jeez. I simply meant that itās much better to train dogs to take medication than to give them overly processed junk to trick them into taking it.
Iām a firm believer that dogs/cats should not be given any form of human junk food, as I have seen what it does to their system. If you (general you) have to use food as a delivery system, limit it to plain boiled chicken and brown rice (unless of course your animal is allergic to chicken). Always consult your vet for the best options.
I forget what grind it was during BFA that it felt almost mandatory (ALMOST) to do certain Assault quests with WM on, and boy, thatās a speedrun strat to making the game un-fun.
I also never got Blood of the Enemy, so I was way below bis for rogue during that back half of the expansion. Yay.
Nope.
It would be a bunch of pvpers ganking solo-conter players.
Thereās a reason I donāt do world PvP; all it is is a gank fest
I appreciate the public service announcement that overly processed food is detrimental to a petās digestive system. In fact the overly processed methodology most major pet food companies utilize with a difficult to track set of standards / changing recipes is also fairly annoying as a pet owner if youāre not reviewing products consistently.
My dogs are not being tricked, that I can assure you. They sit there and diligently watch the dab of human food getting put on their meds. I also let them smell the pills before and after the food application. Sometimes they willingly take it from my hand without food - usually if it has a gel cap and isnāt an antibiotic. But, Iāve also trained my current dogs to evaluate everything carefully that they pick up with their mouths. After having my previous pup in Seattle glomp down a pill on the ground that was a high dose of acetaminophen/hydrocodone and nearly die, I prefer my doggos to be just as certain as I am of what theyāre ingesting. To me, that means double assuring them itās good medicine, even if it takes a bit of cheese sauce, peanut butter or wet food to affirm that itās okay.
They also are trained to āask permissionā if they find something on the ground they probably shouldnāt have/chew. For example, if we forget to put up pens or pencils in our house and the cats thwack them to the floor - my dogs will bring me the object and put it on my lap. They are not allowed to chew the item of interest, instead they are rewarded and traded up with a better treat like a Dentastix and told, āthank you for findingā the object in question.
I apologize that my response was a knee jerk reaction. Your job is difficult enough without that kinda venom on the forum. Your concern for the well being of our fur babies is of great value to us. Thank you for doing the work you do.
I transferred off a PVP server years ago because it was no longer fun to be camped endlessly. PVP is fun if both sides of the interaction are enjoying the game, but when one person who is higher level and/or overgeared and/or has buddies with them is intentionally making another player miserable, then itās a big problem. Unfortunately, this happened way too much on those servers. Iāll personally never, ever play this game 100% on PVP again. Occasionally, sure but no, not against my will for extended periods of time. Iād just not play anymore.
Take the month off.
Oh please stop acting like yāall participate in the open world anyway more than flying to an instance with zero world contact.
Yes, because things that are important to the playerbase like checks notes World Quests and the like wouldnāt be utterly ruined by some PvP grognard looking to aggrivate folk. Hell, I shudder to think how impossible the Cup races might be with a bunch of bored fliers waiting on standby.
Anytime this or any other company attempts to āforceā anything on me, last dollar they see from me. Thats a tap out.
What if they forced you to not wiggle.
Oof yikes. Making a lot of assumptions. I do WQs, races, and world content and donāt seem to have any issue with WM on.
Because War Mode protections can apply, so people donāt dedicate too much thought process to trying to ruin that kind of content.
Itās stupid that there might be a possibility that I have to mobilize my faction just to do a dumb dragon race.
I personally am an open-world solo player primarily. I have never set foot in a single instance this entire expansion.
Please donāt assume.
Meanwhile, my lacking PVP skills result in these guys showing up to help:
Fairlight has diedā¦again.
I remember I was playing Alliance-side and I think it was Duskwood, I forget the exact city but it was the one dealing with the Undead, I think it was Darkshire. Horde got it in their heads to get a decent sized raid going and basically camped the town as hard as they could. An Alliance squad showed upā¦ And then promptly got flattened by the Horde.
I pretty much just logged at that point. What āfun.ā
Yeah, I was VeCo 2009-2017 ally side. I liked the ārealityā of leveling and playing on an RPPVP server. Lotta deaths, and I would never initiate combat. I just liked the effect of knowing you could throw hands at any time, and the ācoolnessā of running into a horde character that didnāt. And then many of them would murder me once and leave me be.
But yeah, there were death farms, too.
At OP.
Forcing people to play a way they do not enjoy never ends well.
Warmode all along, never had to do that. Your hypotheticals donāt apply.
