A lot of people are going to be very upset they re rolled or boosted Horde for this weekend trial period
So horde can drown this forum in even more tears? Nah they gave baby their pacifier, they’ll let them keep it.
Tuesday will be a very salty day for sure!
the retail force is strong in TBC classic, this change is staying and more on the horizon.
That’s their problem.
A lot of the Alliance players on here first were making a bunch of obnoxious commentary on how Horde should just “reroll” or how it’s their own problem for choosing a faction.
Now, they’re whining just as much (if not more) than the Horde did.
I’m seeing a common denominator here.
change is staying, id bet a kotick yacht on it.
When they turn this off there’s going to be a far bigger backlash than the droplet sized one the alliance threw when it was turned on.
There is no going back. No one on horde wants to go back to soul crushing 45m queues after tasting that delicious 30s pop.
Common denominator is horde doesn’t care how a change that benefits horde has consequences for the alliance players. Common denominator is horde only care that there problem is fixed and zero craps given who those changes harm.
Yeah im betting on it as well but you never know with blizz. They might see numbers we aren’t seeing and decide the change shouldn’t happen. It’ll be interesting how it will all go down
A company rarely ever goes to the effort of something like this and to take it to a stage of implementation with it being a “Nah not gonna do it” kinda thing. This was to test popularity, test technical limitations, etc. The only way this would not go live is if no one had turned out to use it. Blizzard used us for internal testing, it may go down for a few tweaks or be a “weekend only” event for a few more rounds of testing… But once you remove the lid of Pandora’s Box, you can’t simply stuff everything back inside and close it again. We have Refail as a result of this practice.
the change is in for sure. even doing this dumb experiment has irreparably damaged classic (hordies who might have rerolled alliance are for sure never going to now), so they might as well go all in with the change.
If and/or when there is actual data on how much supposed “harm” has been done, I might buy it.
Until then, I’ll continue to disregard all the threads where people are projecting their own opinions out onto the entirety of the player base.
The majority of the threads I’ve read (which has been quite a few) have been nothing but Alliance players being rude and obnoxious with their commentary towards Horde expressing frustration(s) regarding excessively long queue times.
Then Blizz implements a temporary solution (which may not even make it into the game) and a good chunk of Aliance players are continuing the obnoxious commentary.
This isn’t to say Horde players aren’t doing it either, but the majority have been Alliance.
This is a good point as well. I think it’ll be tough to find a middle ground solution at this point
typical. tune out all the warning signs and problems until they’re too obvious to ignore. keep that head in the sand. hell, i don’t even blame you. go ahead and get that last bit of enjoyment out of the game while you can.
I dont stand for either side being rude to anyone, opposite faction or not, but a lot of alliance have been fed up with wpvp ganking and Teleport stone blocking and always saw the queues as their advantage to getting pvp geared and have a fighting chance against Horde groups with Horde racials and this change has definitely been a breaking point for a lot of alliance players
I will take that bet lol
Translated:
When the actual harm has been done and it’s too late, oh well!
that’s when they’ll beg for an even bigger, more ridiculous change to fix the problem
Will horde be asking for horde vs horde wintergrasp?
